The price is absurdly high. At the very least 2, 5 inches. It also has little give, so squeezing it down to fit slimmer laptops is out of the question. It's also not ideal for thicker laptops.
It was impossible to remove the wrist pad.
The wood pattern is printed, and there are no seams between the "boards" printer on the top. This is pure plastic, not wood or veneer over particle board. There is a plastic seam on the side, and the wood pattern is printed—there are no seams between the "boards" printer on the top.

I'll get right to the point: this lap desk has a major flaw in my opinion. The padding, to be precise. They chose two pieces: a large one in the back and a smaller one in the front. As a result, it keeps falling off my knees, and the padding is excessively large, which isn't ideal. I'd call it a drop, but that's only because it feels that way when you're sitting on a laptop worth thousands of dollars. To help you decide for yourself, I'm 6' tall with likely long-haired features. Instead of being tucked up close to me, the unit must be pushed toward my knees. It's also possible that it's a result of my poor vision. Also, I'm comparing this to another unit I bought off eBay and couldn't find anywhere else, and I noticed that their padding, while angled, went all the way across the bottom, still at an angle but without the peaks and valleys design of this unit. I believe this design would irritate a large number of users. It's possible that it's too late for me to return, but if not, I'd do so anyway. In the meantime, I use a pillow to brace the front end. This isn't good. If I'm feeling particularly inventive, I'll add some padding to the center to provide more touch points and prevent it from sliding off my knees. br>br>Finishing touches. The phone holder is a little too small. If you have a case, you may have the same problem as me, in which the phone tilts forward (rather than the ideal reclined position where you can just glance at it and read the screen if something comes up). The bottom of my case has a kickstand, which makes it slightly larger than the top. In an ideal world, you'd be able to put a device with a case in here without it feeling pinched, and the holder's depth would be sufficient to keep your device safe. To that end, it might be a little more in-depth. Even with my iPhone 11 inverted (so the narrow part of the case is in the holder), it still stands a little too upright, causing it to flop forward when the laptop desk is adjusted for any reason. br>br>I hope this information is useful to you in making your decision.
On top, there's enough room for a 14-inch laptop, a wireless tenkey, and a wireless mouse (though the touchpad can be painful if you have arthritis). Also useful are the slots at the top of the desk. However, there is one word of caution. The length of the desk is fourteen feet. 5", with two covered foam for comfort and a nice little slant underneath. Make sure you take a measurement between your belly button and the end of the desk. My length is ten inches, and the large pad at the back of my neck begins at ten inches. So that I could use the desk comfortably, I added slanted foam pieces in between. Now I'm a happy camper!.
It's a good desk, but the cushion where your hand rests gets a little 'itchy' as your wrist moves across it. One corner was slightly scuffed, but nothing to be concerned about. It's easy to work with because it's light. There are also pockets for your phone and tablet, which is convenient. br>Overall, a good desk that is a little overpriced in my opinion.
Arrived on time and in good condition. This, however, has a cheap plastic laminate top that looks like wood. The corners and edges are jagged. The laminate on the side is peeling away since I got it yesterday. I'm undecided about whether I'll try to reattach it with glue or return it. Because of the sharp edges, wrist padding is required. The padding's material appears to be long-lasting, but it is abrasive to the touch. I bought it to use with my MacBook Air. I'm dissatisfied, but I'm not sure I want to go through the trouble of returning it. In the coming days, I'll make a decision. Pros. It's a breeze. It's exactly the right size for me. Cons. Are you looking for something that will last? Is it likely that if I keep it, I'll have to constantly re-glue it?.
I've got a lot of space to work with now. The phone holder and other holders are great for holding your phone in if you need to see what you're copying or whatever! This is a high-quality cushion that is also extremely durable. My purchase has made me extremely happy! It's a thick, not a thin, material. Many people dislike the wrist cushion; however, I enjoy it because my old lap desk used to leave an indent in my skin from my wrist rubbing against the laptop, so this is a welcome upgrade. I would recommend this product because of the low price!.
It has enough room for a 17-inch keyboard and a 4-inch mouse. I purchased the smaller version of the same brand, but after a few days, I realized I wanted to use my Apple keyboard and generic wireless mouse, so I looked into this product. br>br>My Apple keyboard is 17 inches wide, and my mouse is about 4 inches long, maybe 2. I wanted something that could fit both peripherals and wasn't too crowded on space, so I went with a 5 inch wide option. I also didn't want the dedicated mousepad that some of the other products had because I thought it would obstruct the keyboard's space and limit the mouse's range. br>br>The measurements for this product were spot on. The year is twenty-one. 5 inches long and does not include a dedicated mouse pad, allowing you to position your keyboard and mouse wherever you want. br>br>The height was also ideal. The smaller version's height and the cushion's sturdiness appealed to me. Because the cushion's design is different, I was concerned that the larger version would not be the same. However, everything went as planned. Note - My laptop is propped up on a Target stand. br>br>I use the larger one as a "work desk"/kitchen island, and the smaller one on the couch or in bed.
This was purchased for my Surface Pro 4, which was nearly impossible to use in my lap because it was not a typical laptop. It fits perfectly in the top groove, and there's plenty of room on the side for my mouse.
It's a pleasure to use this. When I'm not at my desk, it provides a secure place for my laptop to rest. I would strongly suggest it.
