Fixtures that are bright, impressive, and light in weight
5/5

The quality was better than expected. Note the length of the cord in the notes. In terms of our ceiling- We bought one 5' fixture (45 watts, 4500 lumens, 5000k color) and a second set of two 2' fixtures (each 18 watts, 1800 lumens, 5000k color). They're all ridiculously light and simple to work with for just one person - as well as the fact that our application requirements are subject to change - We're not going to use the metal mounting clips that come with the kit at first. Instead, they're securing the fixtures to the ceiling with sections of white, industrial-strength Velcro (available in rolls of 15' x 2" and holding up to 10lbs). The power cord(s) and the fixtures are roughly the same weight. br>br>Our only complaint is that the power cord lengths provided are significantly shorter than what we require. a lot less time than was required - However, it isn't a deal-breaker. For us, the brightness of the light and the frosted covers (which keep the fixtures from looking like exposed-wire fixtures) are a deal breaker, and we are overall very pleased. LED strips with dots or other exposed-light sources light fixtures). br>br>For those of you who require that level of detail, we would have liked to see a review that included extremely precise power and connecting cord lengths. In August of 2021, we bought all of our fixtures in one go. The plug-in version of the 5' fixture was included. in power cord (with an in-built in-built in-built inbuilt in-built in-built line switch) with a 46-inch length. 5" total length (cord distance is measured with the cords plugged in (so from the end of the fixture with the cord plugged in - to the faceplate on which a plug is inserted into an outlet) br>br>Distance between the fixture and the far end of the in- The number 23 is the line switch on that cord. 5", as well as the distance from the in- The closest line switch to the fixture is 21" away. br>br>Two plug-ins were sent to us. with a set of two 2' fixtures in cords Those plug-ins are included in our kit. Each in cord is 38" long (with an inline switch). br>br>The female-only, short female connecting cords that came with the 2' fixtures and were used to connect one fixture to the next in-line. The number of lines is 10. 25". One 20-foot fixture was included with the 5' fixture. 5" light fixture br>br>The three hardwire cord options we received (two with the 2' fixture kit and one with the 5' fixture) were all 18 inches in length. 75" (not counting the wire sheathing) (measured from the wall outlet to the end of the wire sheathing) 5" of exposed wire at each end for direct connection to power supply wires)). br>br>We have a 16' wide room and are installing a set of three in a straight line, starting with one of the 2' strips and connecting it to the 5' fixture with one of the 10. The connecting cables are 25" long. The second ten will be used after that. The other end of the 5' fixture will be connected to the second, 2' fixture via a 25" cable (the power cord will be connected to the far end of that 2' fixture). This design gives us a total length of ten feet (all three fixtures are ten feet). 25" connecting cords) with a total length of around 130" (more than 10. 5'). The set of three is rated at a total of 63 watts and /- The light output is 8100 lumens. br>br>We are considering using white surface mount conduit to conceal the power cord run from the fixtures, across the ceiling, and then securing the cord down the wall either with more conduit or possibly with cord clamps and connecting to an extension cord. br>br>Alternatively, we are considering using the hardwire cord option and instead of hardwiring it - splice a length of the same gauge wire long enough to span the ceiling and down the wall to the outlet - After that, you can either splice in an inline switch - or both. Alternatively, you can plug the power cord into an outlet with an "on/off" switch or timer. br>br>I can't think of many applications (or any that require a ceiling installation) where a 46" plug-in would be useful. The length of the power cord will be sufficient. and even if it isn't, it's not the end of the world. The inline switch will be about 8 feet up and out of reach (depending on the ceiling height). We would have happily paid (additionally) for a parts kit that included longer wire options/extensions and (for example) a couple of male-female connectors. We would have been able to use the 20 if we had had male connectors. Female, 5" tall I've rewired lamps and installed replacement plugs and inline switches numerous times - However, for the impatient or those who are unfamiliar with basic electrical wiring, this may be intimidating or unwise. br>br>Logo of the Company: As previously stated by other reviewers - On the white end sections of the lens side of all three of our fixtures (the 5' and both of the 2' fixtures), the brand name logo is visibly imprinted. "Airand" is imprinted horizontally on only one end of each fixture, along with the registration mark. br>br>It isn't a bold statement. Rather than being black, the color is a light grey. It's not a big deal for our app (and it might go unnoticed in an under-developed version). a situation in which the cabinet will be mounted) - I also don't believe that when the lights are turned on, they will - Because of the bright light, the logos will be visible. Having the brand logo on our light fixtures, on the other hand, does not make the fixtures appear high-end to us. It's at the end of the day, and it's not adding anything to the equation. I'm glad another reviewer brought this up because it's true in some installation locations. It would have been a no-brainer if there had been a visible logo. breaker, and I don't recall seeing any other light fixtures with the manufacturer's name visible on the visible part of the fixture). Basically, no visible logo would have been preferable because it detracts from the otherwise very clean lines of the installed fixtures. And it has a peculiar appearance because it only has one end and is oriented in such a way that in some applications - If you raise your eyes to it, you'll notice that - The letters will be reversed. Because of the brand - br>br> as well as male-only Ports and plugs for females - if you're going to install several - Plan each fixture's orientation so that the logo faces the same way and is on the same side from one to the next (i. e. when "right-" is used "upside-down" is a term used to describe a situation in which something Our logo appears on the left side of all three of our fixtures. Turn the fixtures so that the logos are all facing the same way and none are upside down before connecting one to the other - Regardless of whether it's in your garage or not - It will irritate those of us who suffer from OCD). br>br>In addition, as noted on the instruction sheet, both the plug ports (on each end of each fixture) and the female cord plugs are faintly marked with the letters "L" and "N" on one side. The cords must be inserted so that the "L" pole aligns with the "L" port on the fixture and the "N" pole aligns with the "N" port; it doesn't get any easier than that. The "waterproof class" is listed as "IP66" in the specifications. However, the directions make it clear that users should not "immerse the product in water" or use it in water. They also state that a ground wire is not required, and our instruction sheets state that these fixtures are not compatible with dimmer switches. The angle of the beam is stated to be 180 degrees. The working temperature is described as being in the range of 20 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. 45 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit to 113 degrees Fahrenheit). Voltage required for operation: AC 110- Ra: 120v 60Hz Ra: 120v 60Hz Ra: 120v 60Hz Ra: 120 80 Lifetime has a value of 30,000H. br>br>In order to complete our set- We're using the longer power cord to connect one of the 2' fixtures to the logo end of one of the 5' fixtures, which is then connected to the 5' fixture using one of the 10. Connector cords that are 25 inches in length. Using the remaining ten, we'll connect the second 2' fixture to the far end. 5 mm connector Our room is 16' wide, so each 2' fixture will be 32-inches away from the side wall(s). 33". Because we want our computer monitors to be free of glare from the fixtures - The center of the line of three fixtures should be no more than 4" from the monitors' top edge (in our case, about 21-inches). (From the back wall, 23"). br>br>One last point to consider: each of the plugs that go into the two-pronged jack Two rubber or elastic gaskets are inset into two grooves on each plug for the pronged male fixture ends. If you rearrange your set-up, it will look better. up and down, plugging and unplugging them as you experiment with different options - Make sure you don't lose one or more of the bands by accidentally dislodging them. They keep the plug connections snug, and without them, they'd be loose. If you apply even light pressure to a loose or insecure connection, it may come loose or completely separate. The connections on all of our fixtures were extremely tight after the gaskets were installed, and it took a little even pressure to seat them properly and completely. br>br>Overall, we are very pleased with these fixtures and highly recommend them. Everything about this DIY project is fun and easy, from the consistent color of the light from fixture to fixture to the secure cable connections. (unless - as previously stated - You're going to mount your TV on the ceiling and won't be using the hardwire option to connect it to a junction box - If this is the case, you may need to have the wiring re-wired by a professional. DIY or wired). br>br>Shipping took the expected amount of time, and the outer packaging arrived in perfect condition, with all of the expected components. We chose these fixtures on our own, have no affiliation with the seller or manufacturer, and have not been paid to write this review.

The most effective LED lighting! SUPER VISIBLE! Pros: Super Bright! br>br> Excellent for work environments such as my guitar shop! Very light! br>br> It's likely that the whole thing is only a few ounces in weight
5/5

Easy to set up! br>br> It came with cords so you could either plug it in or mount it directly to the wiring. There were also drywall anchors and mounts included. I only needed a few hooks to hang it on. Connectivity! br>br> This light can be daisy chained into another identical unit, doubling the brightness on a single switch and/or wire, but the single light is plenty for my workbench. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
None! I adore this item and am overjoyed that I purchased it. Anyone looking for a bright, easy-to-use LED light should consider this product.

In a matter of minutes, you'll have your new system up and running
5/5

It's extremely simple to set up. For the location where I needed it, it was the perfect brightness. It's almost too light; On the inside of this light, there's probably not much. It always lights up quickly and brightly, and I had to replace a ballast florescent light that had gone bad in my 100-year-old house. I didn't want to spend a lot of money or time repairing it because it'll all be remodeled soon. When the need arises, I intend to purchase more. So far, I'd give it a thumbs up.

It's nice, but it's missing a few things that would make it more useful
3/5

The brightness is incredible, it's lightweight, and it turns on quickly. br>br>The issue is that the cable is far too short for something that is supposed to be mounted high. I didn't read the reviews and questions thoroughly enough. When it said mounting height of 6ft to 12ft, I assumed it had to be at least 6 feet long. It turns out that the switch is in the middle of a 3-foot cable. It must be used in conjunction with an extension cord or wired directly with a different cable. br>br>Another issue is that it does not have any mounting points. The back is smooth plastic with no holes for screws to go through, so it must be mounted with tape or brackets. At some point, I'll probably 3D print my own, but for the price, I expected at least that to be taken care of. br>br>I was able to solve both issues with the $10 light bar I purchased for my kitchen. It came with a 10-foot USB cable as well as mounting tape. Optional screws for hard mounting were also included.

It's a nice light, but only buy it if you plan to install it! 6" CONNECTORS ARE THE ONLY TYPES AVAILABLE! So, this appears to be a lovely light, and it is quite bright
3/5

The fact that it is advertised as being able to connect to more units is a major disappointment, and the reason I only gave it two stars. You don't need to be that close anyway because the light is fairly bright. The lights must be perpendicular, not parallel, for my application (inside a utility trailer). The connecting cord is only about 6 inches long, which they fail to mention. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal; surely the company could sell me a longer connector, but THEY DO NOT MAKE A LONGER CONNECTOR. I emailed them, and received the following response. "If we redesign a longer cable, it will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to reopen the model. " However, we are unable to do so at this time. " Really? A six-foot cable costs hundreds of thousands of dollars?.

The light is amazing
5/5

However, it is necessary for you to be aware of this. This light is lovely, but it's important to note that it's extremely bright. I intended to use it as an overhead room light, but it was too bright, so I hid it under a kitchen cabinet with a decorative piece in front of it, and it's amazing how much light I get over my kitchen counters.

Do not use the screws and anchors that come with the kit
4/5

I wasted over an hour attempting to use the screws and anchors that came with the package. It's impossible to line up six holes in the wallboard and two brackets while standing awkwardly on a ladder. Use an auger type anchor instead of a screw type anchor to save time and frustration. Only two are required per fixture, making installation simple. They're also significantly more powerful. You don't even have to prepare ahead of time. Simply put them on the end of a phillips head, bump the back of the driver with your hand, and start twisting them into the wallboard; they will go right in and tighten up like metal to metal. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the fact that it was so poorly written.
