Yes, we simply used our timer to test it, and it worked. Before ordering the timer, you must contact our dimmer. The order should be "Power supply - Timer" dimmer - timer - led strip lights ", and then you can use your timer to control it instead of pressing the button to turn on the light.
Yes, the strip can be cut. On the strip, there is a mark that indicates where cuts can be made and connectors can be attached. Connect a connector to a second cabinet, then connect a connector to the strip, and so on. This way, I can daisy chain four sets of cabinets. Everything is in order.
The 3000K strip lights have a lumen output of 1050, which is sufficient to illuminate the entire area beneath the cabinet.
Only the portion of the strip with the plug needs to be cut, and the light controller will turn on.

This was just installed today in my kitchen, and it looks fantastic. The assembly was simple, and I appreciate the large number of feet included. I had enough to cover my entire counter and still had some left over. Another reviewer mentioned that the on/off button had stopped working, so that's something I'll keep an eye on. If the product's quality starts to deteriorate, I'll update this review, but for now, it's a ten out of ten!.
I bought two sets and installed them beneath two stretches of cabinets in my kitchen, which felt like a significant upgrade in my rented apartment. However, it's been less than six months since I installed them, and one set's power adapter failed, causing me to lose half of my lights. There's no way to contact customer service on Amazon, so I'm stuck doing one of two things: 1. Replace it with a new AC adapter (which will be difficult because of the dimmer switch) or 2. Just to replace that one piece, you'll have to buy a whole new set. This is extremely inconvenient, and it makes me wish I had chosen one of the other 4,000 LED strip options, which are likely to be of higher quality.
I have Hue Lightstrips under my kitchen cabinets, which I love, but they're pricey; when I installed a new bookshelf in my kitchen, I wanted to light underneath one of the shelves (mostly for aesthetics), and I immediately thought of Hue, but an $80 buy-in for 22 inches of lights was too much for me. So I began looking for more cost-effective options, and this was the most cost-effective option I could find. br>br>They aren't "smart" lights, but I already had a smart outlet to use with them, so that wasn't an issue. issue. They don't change color like Hue lightstrips, but they can be dimmed: Holding down the power button causes them to brighten until they are no longer bright (at which point they flash briefly), and then holding it down again causes them to dim until they are no longer dim (at which point they flash again). You can leave them anywhere along that spectrum, as far as I can tell. br>br>Since I'm mostly using them for ambiance, I've set them to the lowest brightness and plugged them into a smart outlet that's connected to my Google Home setup. I attached them to the back underside of a low shelf on an open bookcase and secured the cabling with the provided clips. I cut it down to about 22", but there was a LOT more on the spool when I got it. I found them to be simple to install and trim to my desired length; more would have become unruly, but that's not a problem. It's a shame I had to throw away so much of it, but given the low price point, I believe I got my money's worth.
This item has made me extremely happy! I've been on the lookout for low-cost lights to install under my kitchen cabinet. (-) is all I have. ) would be that I had to buy a new set because I couldn't wrap it around the cabinets. I'm not sure if it was just me, but there were no instructions. A bag of miscellaneous connectors is all there is to it. Where I did it was when I tried to bend it up and go over the cabinet. The lights had gone out. I believe I broke the wire, but other than that, I really enjoy this one!.
(Spoiler: they're the color of a porch bug light. ) )br>br>First and foremost, they are not AMBER-certified. They are YELLOW in color. Yes, I recognize that the photos make them appear quite yellow. But- I made the fatal mistake of believing the product's sales claims that it was "2000-plus years old. " 2200k, which is undeniably amber in color. I was aware that product photos can be deceiving in terms of color, so I relied on the information provided. br>br>I already have a lot of amber LED tape, which is reddish orange in color. The issue is that I only had 24V amber, not 12V. So I bought this tape to finish a small residential project when I could have just used professional grade 24V tape and switched out a few power supplies instead. However, I made the error of assuming (ahem) that the seller provided accurate specifications. br>br>Folks, orange isn't the same as red. These lights are YELLOW, not blue, and green isn't blue. Amber isn't the right word. Yes, there is a significant distinction.
It only took me 5 minutes to install them in our kitchen, and we can't wait to get more!.
From a photograph, determining which color of white is appropriate for my needs can be difficult. I went with the 2800-degree warm white. The color is ideal for my needs at 3000k. This color is similar to that of an incandescent light bulb. It shouldn't be too dark or too light. I would recommend the daylight/cold white or a combination of these and the daylight in kitchens, craft rooms, and other work spaces where bright, clear lighting and color rendering are important. br>br>The fade and on/off functions are both simple to use. To turn it on, simply press the button; to turn it off, simply press the button again; to gradually brighten or dim it, simply press and hold the button. It will blink once when it reaches the highest or lowest brightness level, then go in the opposite direction, allowing you to easily select the desired brightness level. br>br>These were so simple to install and have such a great look that I'm going to get more for other areas. I can easily see myself putting one in almost every room of my home.
My kitchen now has a much more refined and elegant appearance thanks to the lights. The difference these lights have made in my now-beautiful kitchen is incredible. The lights can also be dimmed.
