They have a good weight to them, are very bright, and are well-made. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised because I had expected them to be plastic and flimsy, as I had expected from other stores. The glue strip on the back bothers me because it makes it difficult to move them, so I use double-sided tape instead. tape that is double-sided.
I saw that it could last up to a month without charging in motion detection mode, but it only lasted two days. I have to recharge them on a regular basis, and there is only one charging cable for three led lights. Everything else about the product is great: we can adjust the brightness and the motion detection is accurate.
This set of three LED magnetic lights is AMAZING! br>br>I'm using one in a basement bathroom because it's extremely dark there, even during the day. I've placed one of these on the bathroom counter because I don't want my kids to be afraid of going into a dark bathroom. It works perfectly (as seen in the video). They can either use the potty by using the LED light, which is particularly useful at night when you don't want to wake up completely. They can either go back to sleep or turn on the bathroom light for more light, such as during the daytime hours. br>br>I simply SET it on the BATHROOM counter. Because the bathroom counter is wet, I haven't used the MAGNETIC strip. I'm trying to avoid getting the magnetic strip wet. So far, my children have been oblivious to it. We simply re-energize it as needed. br>br>I have two more in the basement stairwell because there are times when I don't want to turn on the light or my hands or arms are full, carrying a child, boxes, etc. , so being able to see the stairwell without having to struggle to turn on the lights is extremely convenient. There are also times when someone inadvertently turns off the lights in the basement without realizing it, which typically occurs when someone is in the basement bathroom. We don't hear anyone asking if there's anyone down below. When that happens now, the stairwell is still lit up. Instead of walking up in the dark, we can walk up with some light. br>br>There are three levels of LIGHT on the LED light bars. br>br>Level TWO is similar to a soft nightlight (it is not dim, but it uses 1/3 the amount of light compared to the other two modes). br>br>Level TWO makes use of two-thirds of the LED bulbs. is, without a doubt, brighter. br>br>The brightest level is THREE. ALL of the LED bulbs are used. Slide the power switch to ON to turn on the light bar. br>br> Then, using the small button, choose the appropriate light level. It has a MAGNETIC STRIP with a VERY STRONG glue on it, so make sure you're sticking it where you want it BEFORE peeling off the paper strip. I haven't used the glue strips yet because I prefer to be able to grab the light bars and use them elsewhere in the house. br>br>These are extremely useful. The MOTION SENSOR PERFORMS EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD. The lights will not turn on if the room light is turned on. The motion sensor will turn on the lights if the surrounding area is dimly lit. br>br>I attempted to attach one of the light bars to my sewing machine, but it was far too long. I'm going to look for a smaller one because the LED lights near the sewing machine were AMAZING (I tested it by holding it over my sewing material). br>br>These LED light bars have made me very happy. I'd like to use them in the rest of our bathrooms. br>br> I'm thinking about getting more for those areas because they have a stairwell. I'd buy them again if the opportunity presented itself.
These are fine, but they aren't ideal for me. It's fine if you want to be bright. In motion detect mode, however, they go off far too quickly. When I'm working in the kitchen, it's annoying when they turn off in a matter of seconds, and I'd prefer them to stay on for a little longer. I forget to turn them off when they are in "always on" mode, so they must be recharged frequently. I wish there was an option to set the motion detection mode to 30 or one minute.
These lights were great, and I kept them under my kitchen counter until they needed to be recharged. Because two of the three originals would not charge, I returned them. When the replacements arrived, I used two of the new ones and kept the first one, which was charging at the time. They've all failed in the end. I need to get in touch with the company to see if I can get a refund. I'm let down.
I couldn't say no to a Prime Day deal. The size is appropriate, and the brightness is adequate for nighttime illumination. The first photo is taken during the day when there is no light; the second photo is taken at night when there is light; the third photo is taken 2 depicts the situation when the light is switched on. Under-cabinet motion detection could be more accurate. Before it turns on, I have to be fairly close. My favorite is the one that hangs from my ceiling. Sticky magnets make installation a breeze. They were partially charged when I received them, but I had to recharge them after I installed them. It went by quickly. Overall, I'm pleased with it, particularly during late-night Kool-Aid runs to the kitchen.
Because the case is made of metal, it has a solid, high-quality feel to it. The motion detection is ideal for my application, which is to view inside an open gun safe. I put one inside the safe's top and the other two inside the door on opposite sides. I can use the lights as needed, with instant on for quick access or constant on for longer looks. It's simple to change the lighting settings. I've only had to recharge the lights once in six months because they charge quickly and last for a long time. I usually open the safe at least once a day and several times a week. The magnetic bar has a good adhesive and has stayed attached to the safe's cloth interior. This product comes highly recommended by me. br>br>Update 05/2021: The lighting continues to impress me. I bought a second set to put in a pantry/closet because of how bright they are and how long the charge lasts. The metal/magnetic bar's adhesive has remained firmly attached (to the drywall interior) and holds the lights in place as before. This product is well worth the money for the value it provides, and I highly recommend it.
The motion detector isn't working properly. To get the sensor to detect movement and turn on the light, I have to actually TOUCH it. I can't even get it to turn on by placing my hand 6 inches below the sensor. I've got to get my hands on it! See the video for more information. I have a couple of others from Amazon that I bought a few years ago and they're great; So it appears to be a matter of which company you purchase them from.
