No, it won't work if the door or wall is shut. There isn't enough power in the signal. It will work within a few feet of each other, but only in an open space. I checked the one in my daughter's room, but it doesn't work unless there's a clear path between it and the light.
Yes, they can be turned on manually (Cycle through 4 Colors) without the use of a remote control.
These lights are appropriate for use in a classroom environment. However, they can be controlled by pressing a button or using a remote control.
I use alien tape, which does not cause any damage.

They're incredibly simple to set up and take down if necessary. The 3M double-sided tape works great; I've had it installed for a month and it's still holding up well. br>br>The lighting is excellent and can be quite intense. It also produces a lot of flood light, which is exactly what I was looking for. The normal white option strikes a nice balance between pure white and a warm yellowish white, and the batteries last a long time; I've never had to replace them. This is a light that I strongly recommend.
Lighting that is more akin to mood lighting than task lighting. That said, I like them a lot because they make my kitchen look even more beautiful at night. I intend to purchase additional cabinets for the opposite cabinet wall. Don't forget that you'll need a lot of batteries. I had some rechargeable ones on hand, and they also worked! Each puck light is powered by three AA batteries.
I really like how they work and how many different colors we can use with them. The timer is the best feature because it ensures that we don't forget to turn them off, wasting the batteries. It was well worth the money.
So far, everything has gone well. Because the heaviness of the 3/AA batteries seemed a little out of place with just the tape that came with it, I added Velcro strips to mine. Oh, and removing the backing from the tape it delivered was like pulling a tooth. I simply used small velcro strips, which worked perfectly. The remote control appears to be in good working order. If I have to get close to turn them off or on, it's not a big deal for me. I'm a happy camper because the lights work as advertised. This is fantastic for Pride Month.
I'm sure I'll end up buying more! Always be on the lookout for new applications. We currently have three sets of these and plan to purchase more in the future. We just keep putting them in different places. The remotes are extremely easy to use and have a long range. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no You're not going to sit on your couch and turn on the lights in the dining room china cabinet. But you also don't have to open every door and push every button, or try to wire the apartment you rent to make the lighting in the cabinets, or the ones in the bedroom full of pictures, or the ones on the shelf above the dresser you can't reach without a ladder, or the ones under all the kitchen cabinets work, because there are no wires running around the kitchen. Everything is fine by me. We used 3M removable strips instead of their sticky things to mount them, and we also used a sharpie to color the ones for the china cabinets black so they didn't stand out. No problem with the Sharpie drying quickly and permanently. The dimmers are adjustable, and the yellow appears to be candlelight. Oh, and we have some by the tub as well; they're safer than candles because they don't have a flame or glass, but they do have a nice light quality.
I was looking for something that would look nice in our living room, be easy to install, and be inexpensive, and this turned out to be a fantastic product. The packaging is fantastic, and I love that you get two controllers because it allows me to install the light in different rooms and have some of them off while others are on. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, I have the following drawbacks: br>The white color in one of them is flickering a little bit, and the glue on the sticker is super strong, so make sure you like where they're going before you put them down lol.
These were purchased for my motorhome to help make it more comfortable and to add light to some areas that needed it. br>These were effective in achieving both goals. The areas that needed a little more light got it, and the areas that needed to be made more cozy got it thanks to the colored lighting that these small pucks can produce. Furthermore, they were simple to set up and required no wiring.
The only thing I wish was that the remote signal was stronger. It was simple to set up everything. It is simple to use the remote control. The signal isn't strong enough to travel a long distance. To turn on the light, you must be directly in front of it. When the light is under a kitchen cabinet or on a shelf, it is a little more difficult to turn on. The light must be precisely targeted. To turn it on and change the colors, you must be closer to it.
