THIS IS EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREME Under your cabinets, three super bright light bars look super sexy! br>br>It's incredibly simple to set up and has a ton of features. All of it adheres to the cabinet with strong 3M adhesive. The kit includes a variety of cord lengths as well as a large number of cable clips for running wires. Use what you want; the rest is a waste of space (see photo for a list of all the extra parts I have). It's also designed to be adaptable, allowing you to chain lights on either side of the controller. 2 on one side, 3 on the other, or whatever combination works for you. br>br>The installation guide will assist you with spacing and a variety of cable routing options. It's nice and bright once it's installed. br>br> as well as dimmable! It's also possible to do white or a warm color. br>br>All of it is controlled by the control box and motion, but it pairs with Alexa fairly easily. For me, the most difficult part was figuring out that I needed to unplug and replug it in order to get it into pairing mode. br>br>Very responsive, and it looks great! Please excuse the mess of spices, but I had to include a photo of my new cabinet lights!.
I needed lights for my new cabinets that I could control with Alexa, were simple to install, and could get bright. I read a lot of reviews and decided to give these a try, despite the fact that they are quite expensive compared to other options. I'm glad I took the chance. I used three 6-packs of lights in the end. For under my cabinets, I used a six-pack. For the top and wine rack, one six-pack is required. Also included are four of the six lights that will be used to illuminate our refrigerator. The lights came with cables that were fine for under cabinet and over the fridge, but I needed to purchase longer cables for over the cabinets because I was skipping every other one (see photos). I apologize for the snafu). Fortunately, 108-inch cables can be purchased separately for around $12 each. One of the six cables I ordered arrived in a hard plastic box with only a female to female connector that looked like it came from a store. The other five, on the other hand, came packaged with a variety of connectors and mounts. Hopefully, that's what they'll be selling in the future for future buyers. br>br>Before I installed the Alexa app, I set up each light. I gave them names based on where they were found (as shown in the photos) and then grouped them. All we have to do now is say "Alexa, turn on the lights" to turn them all on, off, or dim them. Turn the lights to 30%", " Or "Alexa. It's incredibly slick and simple to put together. br>br>I'm glad I spent the extra money on these lights because they were perfect for what I needed.
Good:
- Adaptable to your needs.
- The color temperature of LEDs can be changed.
- It was simple to connect and add my Alexa devices. br>br>Contrary to popular belief,
- It took a little longer than expected to complete the installation.
- In some cases, a hole in the cabinet must be drilled. br>br>I placed an order for a BLACK DECKER LEDUC9-. 6CCT- ACK is compatible with the Alexa Smart Under Cabinet Lighting Kit, which includes (6) 9" bars. I like that this kit comes with a variety of wire lengths to make installation easier. The installation was simple, but I didn't like that the instructions stated that there were three simple steps to follow. Overall, I like the features, such as motion activation, Alexa commands, and the ability to choose your LED color preference, but configuring my lighting bars took almost an hour to find the right set up and get everything in place, according to the user guide. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative I have metal kitchen cabinets, so the bar lights were attached with magnets for flexibility. Instead of using the wire clips that came with the kit, I used putty.
My kitchen now has under-cabinet lighting. But the layout of the kitchen, as well as the cost of hiring a contractor, deterred me. br>br>We ordered these lights as a test and "proof of concept," figuring that if we liked the concept, we'd invest in professionally installed lighting. br>br>As soon as we put these in, our plans changed dramatically. These lights are exactly what I wished for all those years ago, with the added bonus of being fully compatible with Smart Life and Alexa! My kitchen lights are now controlled by an automated schedule that turns them on and off as well as sets the relative brightness at different times of the day. We were so pleased with them that we ordered two more sets to finish the job. br>br>Needless to say, I won't be spending money on professionally installed lighting because these under-lit areas are so dark. That was rendered obsolete by the use of cabinet lights. br>br>As you can see, I think they're fantastic. br>br>I can only think of one drawback, and it may or may not be a drawback depending on how you intend to use the lights. The detection of motion is very poor. To be picked up by the detector, you must be within inches of it. In my case, the motion detection feature isn't important to me, so this isn't an issue for me.
