This is something I'd like to know as well! I'm attempting to use lights on opposite sides of my kitchen, but there is only one power outlet.
It's just a regular 110 plug with two prongs.
Longer cords were also necessary for me. I spliced in some zip cord, which worked fine; I don't recall the size of the ends, but they were standard style round single pin plugs.
The same thing happened to me about four months after I started using it. I can't seem to find an adapter, which seems like such a waste for what could have been a fantastic light for my plants.

The installation, brightness, and dimming of the lights went smoothly. After about 20 minutes of use, the power supply began to heat up and melt. This could have resulted in a fire, so I'm contacting the seller to see what can be done.
With a simple dimming dial, it's bright and easy to use. Using double-sided tape, I was able to easily hang the lights. You will be given a variety of magnets and tape, but we used our own. We noticed that the lights appeared to be less bright as a result of this. If you use the provided magnets, they will hang down a few millimeters, which isn't a major issue. If you're using double-sided tape, make sure to clean the bottom of the cabinet with an alcohol wipe or warm water and let it dry completely. MOST IMPORTANTLY, these lights are simple to integrate with our Google Home hub. br>We still need to clean up the wires with the included fasteners, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.
I saw a few negative reviews about the power supplies being junk, but the positive reviews far outweighed the negative ones, so I decided to take a chance. I bought five sets of lights for under-cabinet use, but two of the five power supplies were defective. Within minutes of being plugged in, one of them melted (had a brown spot). After about a week, the second one simply stopped working. I emailed and explained the problems based on other people's positive feedback about the seller being responsive and sending replacements. I received a response relatively quickly, but I was asked to send a video demonstrating that the power supply was not working so that they could send it to their development team before they would send me a replacement. I'm not sure how a video of a light that isn't working helps their "development team" figure out anything, but I made a quick video and sent it. When I get a response, I'll let you know. br>br>The lights that do work are beautiful, but I believe that two out of every five power supplies are defective, so buyers beware. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> After a month of use, the third power supply died. My email about the first two power supplies has yet to receive a response from the company.

Magnetic discs, clamps, and 3M adhesive tabs are all included, making installation simple. All three can be connected with cables or directly with the stubby adapter. Because the cables are so long, they must be spaced far apart. br>br>Turn on and off with a dimmer switch. There will be no issues. I would strongly suggest it.
These lights (which are mounted on the underside of the cabinets) do a great job of lighting up the countertops. br>However, the switch that turns them on and off, as well as dimming them, is poorly constructed. My first set of lights were installed, and the switch broke the first night they were turned on. The "off" part of the switch failed, and it turned on on its own. "OK," I reasoned, "things fail sometimes. " "br> I contacted the company and informed them of the faulty switch, as well as the fact that I had to plug and unplug my lights to use them, and that I had lost the ability to dim them. I requested that a new switch be sent to me. The company was extremely helpful, apologizing and sending me a completely new set of lights (despite the fact that I had only requested a switch replacement). br>Wow, that's fantastic! Now that I've got my new switch, it appears to be functioning properly. After just two weeks, the new switch failed. Clearly, the switches aren't up to snuff. I like the lights (they do get a little warm, but not hot, when turned on full power, but they're still cooler than fluorescent). I do, however, have to plug them in and out every time I use them. br>One more thing to keep in mind: If you're going to install them with screws, make sure they're pre-installed. Otherwise, the screw will go all the way through the underside of the cabinet unless you drill first and use a spacer (such as a tiny nut/washer).
They call it a "kit," but it's child's play to install the lights using the included light strip clips and magnets. I installed mine in under an hour to illuminate my workbench beneath my metal garage cabinets. The dimmer switch, on the other hand, is bulky and lacks permanent mounting hardware. You can connect them in series with provided plug-in wiring to space them apart, or you can butt them together with the provided plugs. Because no dimming for effect is required on the workbench, a simple "on/off" mountable rocker switch would be more appropriate.
UPDATED: These should not be purchased. br>br>These lights have started to fade. They started flashing in a strobe light pattern while the dial was turned off, and I couldn't stop them until I unplugged them. br>br>I plugged them back in a few days later to find that they had completely stopped working. I've only had these lights for about two months and have only used them for about 30 minutes per week. br>br>Waste of money in the extreme.
It is very simple to set up. I was the only one who completed the task. Completed in no time, and no, my husband was unable to assist because he is working on his own project. Great value, and it appears to have been done well. It isn't so heavy that it makes you feel stifled. Time will tell if the glue strip is strong enough. br>br>I used two sets of the three connecting strips (only dimmable) and two singles, and Alexa can turn off all of them when I tell her to, but if I tell her to turn on, the power will go on, but the one singles that are not dimmable will have to be manually turned on. I wish they were all the same in terms of functionality. I'd have to go out and buy more cord organizers today to hide the cords; They're a little too long. Last but not least, the metal strips and clips are quite sharp. When handling, use extra caution.
