Questions & Answers
If the hub is behind a cabinet door or even a wall, the remote will work with the under cabinet lights. Because the led controller for this set of puck lights is RF rather than IR, it will not work.
I'm not certain. I use the dimmer option on the remote (which I placed next to the main kitchen light switches). I hope this information is useful. It's possible that I misinterpreted the query. I'm sure it would work if you plugged it into an outlet with a dimming option, but the one I bought doesn't require hardwiring into an existing light switch; it's a plug-and-play set that works great.
Inquire about the maker.
A memory is built into the led controller. The previous setting will be remembered.

I purchased four sets of the six-piece set. Now is the time for the lighter version. Each light's connectors are small enough that I was able to fit four of them through the pre-drilled holes. a hole was drilled in the detolf's top cover The cable/wire lengths are also sufficient to reach across three detolfs and illuminate the third detolf's middle shelf in either direction. br>br>I prefer these to LED strip lights because they can be centered and cast a unidirectional shadow on the object you're lighting, which creates a nice effect, especially for my toy figures. Strip lights are too multidirectional to produce the same effect; they scatter the light too much, resulting in a lot of reflection. This problem is solved by these dimmable lights. If I may be so bold, I'd call them accent lights. They give my toy figures the appearance of museum artifacts. br>br>I'll buy a few more as a backup, and I hope they keep making them. And I'm hoping that more collectors and hobbyists come across this and add it to their collections.
It feels warm when left on for too long, but changing the brightness to 25% (actually looks good at this setting) helps reduce% All-inclusive br>br> All in all, these lights make me very happy!.
What a fantastic and cost-effective way to obtain all of the under-utilized resources. the- You can have whatever counter lighting you want, and it will be placed exactly where you want it! I'm an 83-year-old woman who had no trouble putting this product together on my own. I spent some time figuring out where I wanted each of the six puck lights to go, as well as where the controller and main connector should go to ensure that all of the lines were connected. I probably spent a couple of hours on it, not including the wire holders I bought separately. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I like the remote control and the ability to dim the lights to a variety of levels so much that I ordered two more remotes to keep one at each kitchen entrance for added convenience. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
I needed parallel connecting lights because I didn't want to see any cables (I don't have a lip under the cabinets), and serially connecting lights don't allow for that. Because there was a sink between the two sets of cabinets, I needed a separate power source for each line of cabinets to prevent wire crossing. I also wanted to use an RF remote to control the lights without having to deal with line of sight. In short, I purchased two sets for each cabinet line, drilled a small hole in the bottom of each cabinet, and ran the wires through the cabinets. With both sets, the remote worked to the box (I now have one spare), so everything was fine. I had to cut the close to each connector to keep the hole in the cabinet small (wire only size), but it was simple to reattach it, and the same could be said for extending some wires. I didn't bother soldering them together; instead, I twisted them together and isolated them - There should be no problems, but make sure the wire markings match (one is marked with a black line). I wish there was a way to change the color - Perhaps they do, but I was unable to locate them.
I have to say that when we first put the lights up, they looked great and provided plenty of bright light. The remote stopped working three days after I used the lights. We contacted the seller, and a replacement was sent to us right away. It worked for a few days before ceasing to function. We contacted the seller again, this time frustrated by the product, and were guided through a remote reset by a very knowledgeable associate. It was a huge success. The lights we bought are working well for us. There is no manual, as with all new products today, but the company responded quickly and assisted us in resolving our issue. When using the remote, be cautious of how many buttons you press at once.
I contacted the seller and will provide an update once I receive a response, but this product only lasted about three months. They come with a remote control that can be used to turn them on and off as well as dim them. Despite replacing the battery, the remote has stopped working. I'm not impressed so far. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The manufacturer initially replied that there was a 24-month warranty, but that I should try resetting the system first. They never responded after I told them there was no way to restore function. Amazon, on the other hand, gave me a full refund and advised me to keep the lights turned on. br>br>It's a shame the quality was so bad because the design was perfect for what I needed it for. Rather than trying to get a resolution from the company, which appears to be Chinese, Amazon gave me a credit and told me to reorder the product.
Having said that, I have to say that this under cabinet lighting kit has pleasantly surprised me. This is a very simple five-light set that covers about 5 feet of counter/sink space that I purchased for our cabin. The leds appear to be bright enough to me. I really like how bright it is. The light color is perfectly warm, and if you didn't know, you'd think they were halogen bulbs. The fact that these LEDs do not flicker at all, whether at full power or dimmed with the remote, is what has impressed me the most. I've noticed that some lower-cost LED bulbs have poor/harsh light, which you can see by slow-motion filming the light. mo on your mobile phone When you play back on slow-motion, you'll notice that some low-quality LEDs will flicker. When recorded/played back in slow motion, the LEDs in this kit do not flicker at all. That is fantastic! br>br>Installation was a breeze. You'll have to live with the transformer and wire coming up from the outlet, but for my installation, it's not a big deal. The dimming function of the remote is excellent. I'm not sure why anyone would use some of the remote's features (e. g. There are some settings that cause the LEDs to flash/blink, but you can simply ignore them. In any case, for a decent LED undercabinet lighting kit, this is a good value.
