It merely detaches itself from the magnets. Any Micro USB cable can be used to charge it.
They're about 2 feet away from my stove, under the cabinets on both sides. I wouldn't put it near (or directly over) a heat source because it could damage the battery or cause a fire hazard, but I do like them!

Well, the person in the video clearly had the venus, but I didn't realize that at the time, so I bought the Flora, not realizing that it didn't come with a detachable battery to charge. Even though I keep this in the pantry and don't use it very often, I find that I have to charge it more frequently than I expected. It isn't quite as bright as I had anticipated.

I increased the brightness to nearly its maximum setting. The directions and options are fantastic. This light is absolutely stunning! It is simple to set up and use. Because my kitchen is so small, I rarely turn on the lights, but I still wish I had some. That's what I've got for you! When I walk by, it detects my presence and automatically turns on, providing ample lighting for my small kitchen. It doesn't stay on for long after I leave, which is convenient because it saves battery life. I would give it a ten out of ten!.
The light on number three began to dim after only two weeks of use. After a month, only one of them is still working. Don't buy, or you'll be as disappointed as we were!.
