It happened to me as well. I was finally able to locate Gorilla tape. It's a cinch to use. Thank you for your interest.
I had never given it much thought before, so I decided to give it a shot. When I opened the door, the light turned on right away. I counted 40 seconds while moving my hands around. I paused to count instead of moving my hands. In 22 seconds, it was turned off. As a result, I'm guessing it does what it says.
If you forget to turn off the motion detector. Every two days, you'll have to recharge. Perhaps a little longer. br>After 30 to 40 minutes, the batteries are fully charged.
Yes, it can be heard during the day. You can leave it on all the time if you want. When it detects motion, it turns on. or disable the device. My small dog sets it off when he walks into the kitchen, so I have one under my microwave (above my stove). If you leave it on all the time, you'll need to charge it every day.

I was furious with my girlfriend for turning on the lights in the morning, so I bought these in the hopes of alleviating my morning blindness. It turns out that after they've been charged, these things are extremely bright. So I'm still blind, and the lights keep turning on when the wind blows or a mouse sneaks into the pantry through the bedroom. Of course, all of this is nonsense, but the lights are reasonably functional, and the motion sensor feature "works," albeit a little slowly at times. Simply purchase them and leave it at that.
ACTUAL FUNCTION The problem is with the'motion-control' feature. In reality, the sensor's function differs from the product text used in consumer information. In the motion-picture, the light turns on. setting that is based EVEN THOUGH YOU WOULD BE MOVING AROUND AND WITHIN 3 FEET OF THE LIGHT ITSELF, IT ONLY STAYS ON FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS. I liked the 'thinness' qualities and the'simple' installation features, and that is where the problem with the product lies. Only if this'motion-related' issue is resolved does the product have potential. technology that uses sensors.
The good: They appear to be of good quality, with a low profile and a professional appearance. On a full charge, the lights shine brightly. The magnet is strong enough to stick to metal surfaces (we can't comment on the tape and metal strips that come with the lights). They're rechargeable, so they don't deplete my battery supply like some of my other cabinet lights. When the light is turned on, the charge does not last very long. The motion sensor works, but the light doesn't stay on for very long, so there will be a lot of on and off if used under a cabinet. The on/off switch is a tiny slider in the middle of the on/motion activated switch. It's difficult to see and maneuver in this area. In addition, when the light is installed, the markings are reversed. A blunder in the design. Overall, I'd say it's satisfactory. It was most likely not worth the money I paid for it.
These lights are ideal for the location where I wanted to put them. They produce a nice, warm light that complements the existing overhead can LEDs in my new home. It was a simple process to set up. Simply ensure that the batteries are fully charged. When the battery is fully charged, the LED charging indicator turns green. I recommend it for a gang-related situation. After charging them, I simply added the four sticker tabs on the metal strip, aligned them to the center of my cabinet underside, and firmly pressed on them for a secure attachment. I like how the lights are magnetic and can be aligned if they appear to be crooked. Those who say these don't work, well, here's some good news for you: they do. The device is equipped with a photo detector, which means it will turn off the device whenever there is light until it is pitch dark. When the motion detector detects movement, the lights will turn on. During the day, no lights will be turned on- Does that make sense? As a result, you can't expect them to turn on just by waving your hands. If you do that, the batteries will be dead in no time, and you will have defeated the purpose of the entire light in terms of how it should work and be set up. So don't forget to fully-charge your phone first. After that, charge and mount. Watch the magic happen when you set the switch to "G" mode for motion sensing.
These lights are used to illuminate kitchen appliances such as my air fryer and stovetop. They aren't in direct contact with any heat sources. Every week or so, I have to charge them. I've seen other products with a longer charge time and adjustable brightness used by friends in a similar way. That would have been interesting to see. However, in general, I like these. They have a darker Daylight look to them, but they are still very bright. I'm thinking about putting one of these in my spice cabinet and seeing if the same light is available in a warmer tone.
In my kitchen, at long last, there are lights. My kitchen was remodeled, and I was never happy with the lighting. I bought these while looking for something else on Amazon because it was always too dark. I'm so happy I did. First and foremost, I forgot there were two of them, which made me extremely happy, and they are both extremely magnetic. Two magnetic bars and double-sided tape were included in the package. One was hung over my stove, and the other was hung over my sink. Now that my stove and sink are well lit, I am overjoyed. One thing to note is that the one above the sink fell off at some point. I'm not sure if I used too much tape, or if the steam from the dishwater loosened it, but whatever; As I discovered it sitting in the water, the light had gotten water in it, so I set it aside to drain it, and it continued to work normally. After it drained, all I had to do was reattach it with more double-sided tape. I'll never have to cook or do dishes again in the dark. Last but not least, motion sensitivity is a benefit. When I walk into my kitchen late at night, one of them will turn on to help me navigate the dark. There's no need to use a real light. I'll definitely purchase more as a backup just in case. Never again do I want to be alone in the dark.
The light is bluish but bright, and the motion sensor is dependable and stylish.
