As a 60-year-old, I weigh 160 pounds. I find it very comfortable as a man who has had back problems in the past. It was well worth the money (at least for me).
This isn't the best option for you. It's a well-made cushion, but after a week, I had to return it - Much too firm and stiff; raised me 3 inches in my chair (I'm a 165 pound male). Instead, I went to Med Shop and Beyond and purchased an EVA Medical Sloping Coccyx Cushion. It's been a couple of weeks since I've used it - It's a lot better now; The coccyx is still protected, but it is less firm and more comfortable.
No, the bottom is not non-slip. It largely maintains its position on its own. It is held in place by your weight.
The only difference is that the deluxe version comes with a swen/built-in handle. There's also a zippered travel/storage bag included.

Update: When I contacted Xtreme Comforts directly, I was told that folding and boxing the cushions was an Amazon requirement, not their idea. If that's the case, Amazon, why are you wasting so much packaging? br>br>I was extremely dissatisfied with my most recent purchase of Xtreme Comforts cushions. I've already bought them twice. They were always delivered flat and in perfect condition in terms of appearance and functionality. However, the manufacturer has recently begun folding the cushions in half and securely packaging them before sending them out. The cushions are three inches thick and should not have been folded and bound in the manner in which they were. Even after a few days to straighten out, the new folded ones I received were deformed, with permanently creased covers. I had planned to give two of them as Christmas gifts, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do so now. I also don't want the cushion I ordered for myself because it is inferior to the others I own from Xtreme Comforts. br>br>Note on the environment: The waste of cardboard created by folding and boxing the individual cushions was also a problem for Amazon, which is supposed to be improving in this area. The three new cushions could have easily fit into the single Amazon mailing box, which instead held three additional boxes for the folded cushions, if they had been laid flat instead of individually boxed. br>br>Attached photos:

After a snowboarding accident, I broke my tailbone and have been in excruciating pain ever since. This was a spur-of-the-moment purchase that I adore. At my office job, I sit on this every day from 8 a. m. to 5 p. m. I can sleep for 13 hours a day with no pain. With the back opening, I do sit on it. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work, but it relieves pressure on my lower back and tailbone.

This seat cushion perfectly aligns my back and "forces" me to sit up straight, allowing the car seat to provide me with the best lumbar support possible. br>I love this seat cushion; my only regret is that I did not buy it sooner.
It is assisting her with a sore spot on her tailbone and, we believe, preventing a worsening of the sore. We feared it was the start of a pressure sore (also known as a bed sore). It's very relaxing and relaxing for her.

It irritates me that I have a long coccyx bone. During pilates, I can feel it digging into the floor, and the pressure on the bone from sitting hurts. I didn't notice whether or not this pillow worked when I first bought it for my office chair, but after a few months of use, I can say that IT IS WORTH IT. I'm not constantly adjusting myself to find a comfortable sitting position, and I don't feel any pain or discomfort when I stand up after an hour or two at work. When I sit without a pillow for more than a few minutes, I become uncomfortable, and when I stand up, the pressure I had been putting on the bone causes pain. If you're in the same boat, this is the product for you!.

The material is about 3 inches thick and dense. When you sit on it, it doesn't squish down. After 8 months, it still keeps us in shape. The cover can be taken off and washed.
