Potential buyers should be aware that these exact wheels are available on Amazon under different brands for a lower price; for example, I previously purchased the Office Owl wheels (for $23) before purchasing these, only to discover that they are identical. Although the price of the Office Owl wheels has risen, they are still less expensive than these. br>br>As for the wheels, they're quite nice and definitely superior to standard office chair casters. I wanted to try the SunnieDog brand after purchasing the Office Owl's because I have two office chairs and the Office Owl's "grabbed" the (hardwood) floor as they swiveled around, requiring a little extra "push" to get going, detracting from the otherwise smooth rolling of the wheels. It appeared that this was caused by a small raised area that makes contact with the ground and runs the length of the wheel's outer circumference. It's not a huge deal, but I was hoping that because the SunnieDog wheels are more expensive, they would be a little nicer and thus avoid this issue. But, since they're the same wheel, they obviously have the same result. br>br>Unfortunately, I didn't look closely enough at the photos and mistook them for something else at first glance. So I'm a little disappointed that I overpaid for the same wheel by about $12. It would cost about that much to return them for a refund, so it wasn't worth it, but the lesson was learned. br>br>**Update*
In response to SunnieDog's claim that theirs is the only one, I'm posting photos as proof. With the exception of the branding, they are nearly identical. br>br>A quick Amazon search revealed multiple listings for the same wheel being sold by different businesses. Here are a few examples:

So Well- Designed. I am the mother of a seventeen-year-old daughter. year- Herman Miller's old Eames Aluminum chair. After spending so much time in a New York apartment, the casters began to deteriorate, and one of them completely broke. I wanted to replace the original wheels because I'm a design nerd, and I didn't want the Eames to spin in their graves. So, I'm a knucklehead. Customer service from both Design Within Reach and Herman Miller, where I purchased the original chair, was terrible. They wanted me to prove that this was an original because I guess there have been a lot of fake chairs over the years. I didn't have the original purchase receipt from 2002, and the paper label that purports to be proof of authenticity had long since deteriorated. (I tried showing them a picture of what was left of it, but it didn't work. ) )br>br>Anyway, I needed a solution, even if it was just a stopgap, because I spend so much time in this chair every day. So I went ahead and purchased them. I'm no longer a design nerd, and these wheels are fantastic. It was simple to replace them, and they now roll smoothly. I did find the Herman Miller casters on eBay, but they were asking the same price for each one as I paid for the entire set. br>br>There was one more benefit that I hadn't thought of. Because these wheels are a little taller than the original casters, I'm a little higher up at my desk and keyboard, which means my shoulders are much less tense than usual after a full day of working on them. br>br>So, if you're an Eames purist, you're going to be surprised- I am astounded-- as a result of a design change These, on the other hand, are the perfect complement to your favorite desk chair. And, hey, why are you staring at my wheels in the first place? br>br>Seriously, this is a fantastic product, and I'm glad I came across it.

It's a mystery why these aren't standard on office chairs in the first place. Unfortunately, I have owned a number of office chairs, which are typically replaced every one to two years. 2 years. So, in my search for the ideal office chair, I thought I'd found it until I read endless reviews about how the chair's casters (wheels) easily break and are difficult to replace because they aren't standard size, prompting me to look elsewhere. But, because it was one of those situations where your mind is made up, I asked myself, "What can I do to avoid the casters (wheels) issue?" and that's when I came across these rollerblade office chair wheels. I looked at a few different brands, and several people said they had the same chair as me (WorkPro Quantum 9000 Series Ergonomic Mesh Mid-Back Chair). Back Chair) and the wheels were not compatible. One reviewer claimed that it could be made to work with a 7/16" drill bit. That was something I was adamantly opposed to. The casters (wheels) were measured after I bought the chair. It wasn't an exact measurement, but it was close enough, and I figured I had nothing to lose because the rollerblade wheels could be returned if they didn't fit. To cut a long story short, they're perfect for each other. Of course, the wheels add a little height to your chair because the wheel itself is taller than the chair's original casters (wheels), but these rollerblade wheels are far superior to standard office casters (wheels). Who knew. It's also easier to move around in the chair. Even though the chair is almost $400, the original casters (wheels) are made of cheap plastic, so I can see how the original wheels could easily break, but not these new rollerblade office chair wheels. These wheels will almost certainly outlast the office chair, and you can simply remove them and replace them on the new chair. I can't comment on how well the wheels handle carpet because I still use a chair mat, but moving and using the chair with these wheels on a chair mat is no problem. Have you ever heard the expression "once you try it, you can't go back"? Just saying, I'm not going to use the original casters (wheels) on any office chair from now on. This is the first brand of these wheels that I have tried. I posed a compatibility question to several suppliers, and one of them gave a negative response. So, in the end, I chose this brand, and I have no complaints about the product or how to use it. High-quality and long-lasting. If you donate or give away the chair, the box that comes with the wheels can be used to store your original or (old) casters (wheels) for easy swap out if you want to keep these wheels, which is what I intend to do.
