Questions & Answers
It has been five months since I've had mine. This mat is so badly damaged that I'm currently looking for a new one to buy. As the carpet has a thickness of about 3/8", I notice that the mat slips a great deal. There are times when I have to move it again. A 6'0", 250-pound person, I stand at a height of 250 pounds. Because I am bigger than most, I bought the jacket according to its description. It was described as "a heavy duty jacket that is guaranteed not to crack.".
Having medium carpet in my office causes the mat to slip a bit, but not a lot, and it's fairly easy to move it back to its original location. My office chair wheels glide over it with ease and the mat is heavier than other mats I have used in the past. The wheels on my office chair would not glide over my previous mat because it was cracked in several places. This one allows the chair to glide over it without problems.
Over the past few months I've been sitting in my chair for roughly 8 hours a day and I've hardly felt the need to move around since I bought it
This is a very transparent process, but not entirely. If the lighting conditions are right, the carpet grabbers and the shape of the mat can be clearly seen.

The wear and tear on my wearables inspired me to replace them It was time to find a new desk chair mat, and we picked The last mat I purchased from Amazon was also an item I previously owned. A couple of years after it was manufactured, it began to crack and shatter. The mat was already filled with holes by the time I threw it away. For a comparison of that particular mat (which I do not recommend) you may see It follows that.
It's not a good idea for me to use a wheeled chair for my home office if I weigh 200 pounds. If I sit for an extended period of time in the same spot, it leaves an indentation and eventually cracks. The plastic mat is one of the strongest I have seen so far and it impresses me a lot. The glass is not cracked or dented. I have no problems with the chair rolling smoothly. In this case, it states that it is intended for low to medium pile carpets. There is no way to know if these mats are designed for surfaces with high piles, and my carpet is very tall. Considering my weight and the height of the carpet, it appears that this one will hold up well. I have seen similar items at twice the price and this is even better.
That is, until it cracked all over. Throughout the first four weeks using this mat I found it to be quite comfortable. There was only one issue each day, it would move an inch or two, so I had to reposition it daily. I found the bag to be sturdy, even with the weight of a big guy like me on it. six feet tall and 275 pounds, so I was a bit concerned about its quality before I bought it, but reviews seemed to indicate it would be trustworthy. A crack appeared shortly after it had been in use for a full month. I used the mat without a crack and it wasn't too bad. A wheel or two of my chair might catch on it from time to time, but after a few weeks it developed multiple cracks and is now almost inoperable. I will also throw it away since I am concerned about cutting myself on the sharp cracks. The fact that it cost $50 and now has to be discarded after less than three months is truly appalling.
It's been reported that some people received their mat rolled up in a box with the label Made In China, and it Please note that the picture shown is NOT the product. The mat is made of Polycarbonate (1/8" thick), which is the same material as protective eyewear and bullet-proof glass (see picture), and clearly states "Made In Germany". There is no way for this mat to be rolled up since it is so thick and sturdy. There is no resistance on it and my chair glides so effortlessly. You should get a lot of use out of it!.
The chair mat you're looking for is this one. Even though I weigh 200 lbs and my desk chair weighs another 50 lbs, this mat holds up perfectly with no signs of denting. It is used over the carpet in my house, so it lays flat on top of it even while I am seated. It is smooth to sit in my desk chair while it moves across the surface of the mat. Several hours have been spent using the mat every day now for about a month, and it has not changed because of daily use. After one month of heavy use, there are no visible dents or warps in the picture.
I put it down 3 months ago and the whole thing completely cracked within 3 months. It seemed sturdy when it arrived, but no more after that. It is used every day in my home office on medium pile carpet with a rolling office chair, but I would expect the chair to last a year or more. I only have 30 days to return the chair. It was because of this that I discovered.
Promised it would not crack or break, however within a month it has developed a crack that is only getting worse. It might actually do better on the floor than on They did not live up to their promise, but were very thick. This review of the mat will be added to later. My issue with Amazon was handled in a very professional manner. Upon receiving my refund, I was credited in full. It continues to crack, but I'll wait until I find something to cover my carpet until I can replace it. A wood plank might do the trick! It was requested that I send them a picture of the mat, which I will do in the near future.
Having spent days trying to find the right chair mat to buy, I'm glad this one turned out to be the There is no doubt that it is everything it is said The first time you see it, you will be impressed by its thickness. The cream is not one of those soft rubbery creams that you can roll up, instead, it is a totally rigid and firm cream. The chair mat I use at work does not get any indentation from the wheels of the chair as does my chair mat that weighs around 300 pounds. This thing does not move around any at all even on medium height carpet (about half an inch). On the basis of the reviews and descriptions of the product, this is probably the best price for a mat of this quality anywhere online.
