The following information is on the web A rubber-based material It is relatively simple to wash backed rugs, and they are well suited to create a safe, non-slip surface. The surface of a laminate flooring is slippery, but can damage it if it is not maintained. If a rug is placed on top of a laminated floor, the rubber backing can undergo a chemical reaction, trapping gases beneath the rubber and causing the laminate to discolor. Therefore, I assume it may cause your flooring to fade.
Unlike plastic, this item is not made of it. There is no moisture holding in between it and my flooring yet since we have only had it for a short time. It's really been a good experience for me.
Because the chair moves, the chair mat shifts every once in a while, and you have to adjust it occasionally to avoid "bunching up" against the wall (depending on where you place you). Despite the mat's sturdiness and smoothness, our office chair moves easily on and off it. Powered wheelchairs, since they are heavier, would also be able to perform the same functions. Our mat is lasting well and it has bright colors, so we are pleased with how the colors are. You can return it if it doesn't work that well for you.

What a great product it is, and it looks great too! There are these ugly plastic chair mats that I have tried but don't seem to last very long with our very thick carpet. In fact, we went without anything for quite some time, but that just made our carpet pad worse. The cushion has been located under our office chair for about 3 months now and we have not had any problems with it. I was nervous it would have an annoying edge due to its thickness, but it has not been an issue. is an awesome thing. I just wish the price was lower, but it has been well Added an edit The one who works from home all day uses it all. He weighs more than 300 pounds and uses it all day. The problem has been solved.

It seems to be great so far, but it's extremely expensive. I hope it lasts at least several years. I chose 1/2" because it is It is not noticeable how the piece has a fold in it, which I was skeptical about when I first bought it. The chair rolls nicely on it, but there is still a good amount of friction to prevent unintentional chair rolling. A nice touch is how the mat looks more like a rug than an odd looking piece of shiny plastic (which likely has cracks). In terms of size, I wish it was a bit larger. Rolling chairs tend to have large wheel bases, so you might find that a wheel or two rolls off almost every now and then. As a result, I chose to turn the mat longways, so that I have excess space The more I roll sideways, the less I roll.
The seam of this jacket has ripped after I only have it for two days. The mat provides great performance and there are no other mats like it on the market. I find the cost of this product appalling, however. I am worried about how long it will last. Maybe it is just this print because someone complained about it. I wish there was a way to reinforce the seam to slow down further I would have given it five stars if it weren't for that. EDIT OR REPLACE The first mat I received was returned to Amazon, and they sent me a new one. I like this one a lot more. One of them was nothing but a flaw, and it was even coming apart in the fold area. In the event that you receive one with poor workmanship, don't be afraid to return it for a replacement. I found the process very straightforward.
I was excited at first to replace my ugly plastic mat with this product for my home office. after just 2 days of use, the threads are already separating. Based on the price tag, we expect that they will be apart within a short time. Disappointing, especially given the quality of the product. The use of a wheeled office chair suggests that these materials should be tighter woven. This design and beauty is stunning, but there is no quality to speak of. My recommendation is not to do so.
A firm rug to fit underneath my desk and chair had been on my wish list for a long time. As a carpet and a mat it is just right. It has the perfect texture. Combining both is the best approach. Those plastic ones I didn't like that roll up were not for me. It provides perfect rolling for the chair. I really like this and it's the right size for what I wanted. You can see a picture attached. Before, I had one made out of plastic that looked like a skate In the middle of eating, my chair began to slide. With a little bit of traction, this chair mat rug is just what you need. It is easy for me to adjust the amount by which I roll my chair. This is a great looking site! It is a product I would buy It is true to the color you see on the website. It is 1/4 inch thick and comes in blue, Maldives pattern, for low pile carpets and hard floors. In my case, I am using the carpet over low pile carpet using this product.
After receiving it yesterday and unpacking and putting it into place today, I am able to use it as soon as possible. I get an extra 1/2" of height, the chair rolls smoothly on the surface, and I get the benefit of a smooth surface on which to sit. It is true that I could have done the same with my chair, but the mat height and chair settings allow me to be in a comfortable position for both my legs and desk. There is no doubt that I will recommend this product to my friends and family. As for colors and patterns, there is an excellent selection, so you will be able to find something to suit just about everyone's taste or style. 4 is what I would do if I were able. I would have given it 5 stars, but only because it could have been 4" It would be ideal (hint, hint to the manufacturer) if the dimensions were 42" x 54"!.
