There is no reason why someone doesn't design a mat that will last for more than a few years. To check how these mats looked before I bought three more, I ordered one to see how they looked. There is a lot of thickness to it, making it a greater investment than your average chair mat. I think it will last for a long time. My office carpet is short, and so far it stays in perfect place. There are some scuffs and marks from the chair wheels, but they do not ruin the look of the chair. What is more important is that it functions great and will probably last for.

After a few months of procrastination, I replaced the office chairs I bought a set of thinner mats when we first moved in, and the first weekend we had them, the mats cracked. There were actual chunks of that set that were missing by now. It's so nice to have This time, I decided to buy the thickest nonskid material available Amazon had a glass set I was able to locate. It was an easy decision to buy these for the price. My jaw dropped when I saw this. Thick and heavy, they're thick and heavy indeed. Even when a huge chair of 220 pounds is placed on them, they do not flex. There is a feel of being on glass when you roll the chairs. As well as looking sharp, they are also very well made. In retrospect, I should have deducted one star due to Two very small dings (see photos) appear on one of the mats, as it seems there was an impact on the edge. In fact, they look like they were hit very hard and dented a bit. On closer inspection, they looked like chips. Crystal clear is so much better than other brands that it probably wouldn't even be noticeable if they weren't. I would give them a 5 out of 5 if not for that. A NEW UPDATE We have been using them heavy for just over two months now, and they are holding up well. As he works from home, my husband plays video games when he's not at work. The desks are still in great shape, he hasn't scratched or warped them, and they look as new as the day he purchased them. The glide is so easy, you have to be careful not to get all the way to the edge of the pool. Even one of our friends asked me if she could order the same one after seeing the link. While reading product specifications and reading reviews, I considered these to be decently priced and durable floor mats for use in the office. They're tough and look like glass, but they're actually made of reinforced plastic! The mats won't chip, dent, or shred under everyday use (like most plastic mats). As I'm typing this, I can see the nice hardwood floors in our office, and the mats are staying in place on both our cubicle wood flooring and the low pile carpets in the engineers' You have done an amazing job on these! But just a word of caution (and not a complaint), be sure to spray yourself down with static guard before unpacking the box! I was sucked up by static electricity from my packaging along with my hair, clothing, and any dust on the floor! Normally these first two hours do not last more than two hours, but lasts for a few hours. That is intriguing.

There are a lot of negative reviews (fewer negative reviews than positive ones, but there are still a lot) and none of the points bother me much. My view of several of them is as follows 1 .
Rugs have a tendency to slide around. I personally do not find it helpful. Although I thought it MIGHT move because it does not have any grip to the carpet, I did put it down a couple of days ago, placed my chair on it, and it has not moved a single Whatever it is, it does not seem to be a problem for me, whether it is my carpet or my 250lbs or so that spends a lot of time in my chair on the mat. .
. There is a possibility it will be scratched. It already has some, but I don't care what they are. What it means to me doesn't matter. Whatever it is, I don't care about it being opaque. my main reason for this is to make my chair roll more easily since I find it pretty tough to roll on my carpet. Secondly, it's to protect the carpet, and it works great for both purposes. Honestly, I don't really take much notice of what it looks like. It does not appear to be clear as listed it has an opaque white color. The answer is a resounding 'no. ' My original thought was that it was opaque, which would still work for me if it were still opaque, but then I saw the video on one of the reviews and realized I still had a plastic sheet on one side of it. It adheres very tightly and is not even clearly visible. To get it off, you just have to push it with your fingernail or something similar to allow it to loosen enough so that you know it exists. 4. ]
