Questions & Answers

There are times when it is impossible to avoid rolling off the mat. What are the chances that you will break your ?

Your castors (rollers) should be made of plastic not metal so there shouldn't be any risk of breaking the mat.

The casters of an office chair leave traces or create dents. How well does this product resist these effects?

Chair mats like this are incredible. It is guaranteed that the casters will not leave a mark or dent. We have had several mats over the years and this is hands down the best.

The actual dimensions are 36x36, right?

The size of the artwork is 36x46". As far as size goes, I think it's good.

I was wondering if putting a couple of the small mats together would work to go under a round table and chair The total dimension of the room would be 6' x 7'. The six feet?

According to my understanding, it would depend on the chairs and the flooring. During my U-shaped couch arrangement, I have two mats together on a medium pile carpet With two rolling chairs, a computer workstation in the shape of a U. I'd like to keep an eighth of an inch There is a 1-inch gap between two mats, or a slight give in the carpet, and slight movement of the glass mats over a seven-foot distance In 10 days, you will hear a rather unpleasant squeak as the edges rub together. There is no way to test how they will work on solid flooring with the feet they come with.

I recommend that you do not do what I did
5/5

When I dropped a little steel thing on this mat, it turned into an absolutely beautiful and functional desk chair mat. My hand stamped jewelry broke when I dropped one of my metal alphabet stamps on it. I'm embarrassed to admit I should have thought about it before dropping it. There are about 2 stamps on the sheet. This item measures about 5” long by about 1/2 wide, and it weighs about 2 lbs. There are 3 ounces in each. The photos show that this is truly tempered glass, so it must be as such. While sitting in the chair, the whole mat broke almost like frozen ice, almost, like ice on top of ice.

Good product I chose for the wrong purpose.

With my weight of 275 pounds, this continues to hold up well
5/5

In addition to my 275 pounds, I also have As of now I've been using the glass mat for more than six months and it holds up well to my weight. It's stored on a carpeted floor.

I am extremely pleased with this product
5/5

It is important to know a few things, however. The first thing to do is this. A glass chair mat is by far the best option if you are in search of one. I think it was well packaged (and I didn't notice any damage). It is important to know a few things, however. *BSQ *BSQ Quality Regarding the glass itself, it appears to be of very high quality. As long as I am at least 200 pounds with a 30 pound chair, I don't have to worry about it breaking. As long as this is spread out on a solid floor (wood, tile, linoleum) I do think it can handle 500 lbs or more in a similar manner to a traditional chair. It is probably too much weight to bear on a carpeted floor. Finishing and polishing are applied to the edges. The manufacturing process is high quality with no roughness. It is a larger size than I had anticipated (which is good and exactly what I wanted), but I understand some reviews say this is a negative. My desk is what I would consider to be a regular size / full width computer desk (I believe it is I am able to fit the mat between the legs of my desk with about 3 inches of space There is a margin of 4 inches. So if you are using a "home size" / compact desk, you will likely not be able to slip this The floor is Despite the lack of mention in the description, little feet are included in the game. It wasn't until after I threw some of them out that I noticed they were there, so make sure you look for them in the package (see my third picture to learn where to look). To illustrate this, I have placed a pen in the middle to scale (clear foot) so you can see just how large the feet are. four feet in each baggie for a total of eight, and the feet (1/16") are fairly thin. It seems to me that these feet would be ideal for hard flooring surfaces (tile, wood, linoleum, etc), but they might not be the most suitable feet for carpeting (but I haven't tried them yet). It is also not mentioned in the instructions where to place them in the most efficient places, and the images on the product show them at the four I'm not sure if these 8 were included by chance or for backups, but my non-SGP files seem to show those 8 The engineers recommend putting them towards the middle of the mat to ease some of the pressure off of the center if you are more heavy. If you are using it on carpet, then follow these instructions The mat on carpet did decently well, but me and my dog noticed that the edges of our desk were hitting the mat once or twice a week. I also noticed some pretty severe crushing of the carpet, so I did find some feet that I had lying around that were much "taller". However, my observation is that even with these "taller" feet, moisture seems to collect under the glass (not visibly, but when I move the mat, I could feel that the carpet beneath is somewhat damp). The weather is like this in TEXAS during the summer, not in a wet basement. In summary, if you're using the mat on carpet, I suggest picking it up once or twice a week (maybe while vacuuming) to allow it to air out a little bit. If your office chair has skateboard wheels (like mine in the picture), you might be interested in this. Due to the silicone type material on these wheels, they are extremely effective at holding the glass. This makes it hard to pivot or roll due to the fact that they grip the glass so tightly. Although I did try going back to the plastic wheels that came with the chair, I went back to skating (it is still an improvement, but it is incredibly irritating). My sister and I have even experimented with using various types of grease on the wheels and the glass (so far, pledge works best but it does not I don't blame the mat in any way for this. It is an important thing to be aware of in this scenario since it will probably be annoying to you as well. With this knowledge, I may have chosen a high-quality rubber mat instead of a glass table top. In the case of a manufacturer In case you happen to read this and are considering doing research, my advice would be to do so The carpet on the left has some D on it Include specific feet in the list. Imagine a surface that looks like a bunch of pyramids to create a very grippy, biting texture without using sandpaper, which might "sand" the carpet, and also to make it more airy and help with carpet crushing, than the current thin feet. There are probably other things I could think of, but that is Overall I was very happy with the price and I think it was a great purchase.

A mat made of glass is a mat made of glass
5/5

This item was the cheapest of the products available on Amazon for a Glass Chair Mat. There is nothing disappointing about it. I have my Ekornes Office chair glide without leaving a mark on the glass! It is a good idea to clean the rollers of your chair before using it on your glass-top The best part is that it offers HUGE SAVINGS over highly marketed other brands with all the same benefits and features! When it comes to this situation, CHEAPER IS BETTER! There is no way I could live without this mat, which costs about twice as much as a good quality vinyl mat (which is terrible). I am SO glad I bought this mat! YES, YOU WILL BE ONE OF THEM!.

Shipping was fast, and the deal was good

I received my order very quickly. It was estimated that delivery would occur on June 6 We started the process 9 days ago, but it only took Overall, I am satisfied with the stability and durability of the system. Buying this would be a great investment for my home office, because it is not as expensive as glass and looks great in there. Potential buyers should note the true size is 36 x 46 inches (at least the one I received). According to the advertisement, it's There are four 48-inch sides.

There is nothing I would rather have
5/5

During the first four years after I purchased this mat at Office Max, it cracked & the chair kept sticking to The price I paid made me expect it to last forever, then I learned no manufacturer will ever guarantee a lifetime guarantee since these mats crack over time. As a result, mine broke after four years, even though I barely used it at all. As a result, a typical person would have to replace mats about once per year. I decided to go with glass for its My only wish has been to have it so far. You'll enjoy its smoothness and the fact that it is so enjoyable. As a rule if you do not have your feet on the floor, you will slide around or if you are on an incline, refrain from getting it as you will be annoyed when you slide out of it. It's hard to believe this glass is cheaper than those cheap If you decide to place the glass on a tile, wood or another surface, the glass comes with four anti-slip stickers to keep it from sliding. I recently purchased a 10.

You're the best
5/5

This is amazing. You're doing a great job. In the area where the wheels roll, it doesn't sag or deform. Whenever I move my chair, it glides very smoothly. Packaged very well, the item arrived in excellent condition. It was obvious that there were some external tears on the package, but the tempered glass was not damaged. A good amount of protection was provided by cardboard around all the edges of the package, sandwiching two sheets of 1/2" Styrofoam. The shipment arrived fairly quickly.
There is a larger Tempered Glass Chair Mat available as well, but shipping is super expensive. If that mat is made available through Prime, I will order it also. It costs about the same to purchase polycarbonate char mats that are nearly thick, but they develop cracks and wear out in Buy this Glass Chair Matt and you won't have to worry about it breaking down any time soon. There is no reason to regret it. I just wanted to point out that There is a lot of weight in the glass. *See *See cjoe.
