Questions & Answers

What are my chances of getting my money back if it cracks in less than 6 months?

It's been around a month and a few days now that I find that the seat of mine is cracked when I sit down in it. If it is possible to get a refund for this, I would appreciate it. It was interesting to note that on the order page the return window closed literally the next day after we received the order for the mat.

Does the lip reach all the way to the ground?

In addition to being 20" long and 12" deep, the lip and tongue are set 8" from either side of the rest

Does 36x38 or 36x48 have the same dimensions?

There is a 'tongue' on one side that measures 12" x 20" wide and fits into the kneehole space of the desk. The majority of the mat measures 36" x 36", but there is a tongue on one side that measures 12" x 20". When the tongue is extended forward, it increases the frontal plane Approximately 48" long is the back measurement. Mat tongues are inset eight inches from one side to the other.

Can you tell me what the difference between the carpet with and carpet without lip is & how would you decide which one to purchase. There is a high pile carpet in my house. ?

This is the part of the mat that is narrower compared to the rest, allowing the mat to fit under narrow desks or cubicles while protecting the carpet There is no way around the fact that a mat will flatten the carpet underneath, but you can use a carpet rake to bring the pile back up afterward.

Upon putting the mat down, they put a sticker on it that cannot be removed
3/5

THIS MAT IS A SCAM! DON'T BUY IT! This is a really nice, sturdy mat but they stuck a huge sticker on it that says "Gorilla Grip Premium Polycarbonate Easy Glide Studded Chair Mat" that's not removable. No matter what I do, this stupid sticker won't come off. I've tried peeling, soaking in hot water, and goo be gone. As a result, I returned the item. The person who thought stickers were a good idea has obviously never had to remove a sticker THIS MAT IS A SCAM! DON'T BUY IT!.

This chair mat is WAY better than the others I've used in the past! This will also work in carpets with a deeper pile
5/5

It follows that It's the polycarbonate that makes a difference. You are not looking at a flimsy flexible PVC chair mat that comes rolled up and is hard to lay flat. My office has deeper carpet which puts dents in a PVC chair mat, making moving that chair difficult. I replaced that with a fabric chair mat, but the carpet in my office makes it hard to roll In order to address this issue, I purchased a second mat from Costco and laid it on top of the first. Although that helped, your chair would still flex enough to make you feel like you had to roll it uphill to move it after sitting for a few minutes. My personal favorite mat was the PFC mat but it cracked, so I started looking for something Due to its incredible impact resistance and rigidity, I sought out Polycarbonate specifically. Though I had been looking for one thicker than this one because I thought that the fairly deep carpet would still allow for a lot of flex, the size and price were right, and even if I had to add anything to it later, I planned to get another one soon. In my surprise, I won't be needing a second on to make this one stronger. The chair rolls smoothly when I am on it, with my weight around 230 pounds. There is little flex in the chair. I did not get it perfect, but I did it I have nothing negative to say about this purchase. It does not show any dents from sitting in one spot for a while. There was no need to roll up cheap mats that take forever to lay flat, this was so much easier to use! It was shipped in a flat box, and the box even helped haul out the old broken Purchasing this item was a good decision. You found what you were looking for if you're looking for something that can handle people who weigh more than 200 pounds on deep carpet. While sitting on my chair, I rolled the wheels of my chair over the mat with the wheels of my chair rolling over it. I took two videos, one from above and one from the side, but the review Thanks for understanding. Check out the video to see how strong each of these muscles are. I use five rollers on the mat to support my weight and the chair, which amounts to over 50 lbs per caster. The mat shows very little flex due to my weight and the chair. You have done a good job!.

This item did not ship flat! You should beware! This mat set me back a great deal
3/5

And I just got it According to the manufacturer, the product would have shipped I certainly didn't receive the item as advertised. Using 2 pieces of clear shipping tape, the package was carefully rolled up and packaged! I noticed several significant scratches on the surface of the box the second I opened it. Someone must be dissatisfied since they returned this item. It is not clear to me why it came sooner In addition, they weren't happy with it My first reaction after I took it out of the box was to have it unroll in my face (very hard plastic) and spring open in my face It may have been more serious for me. I was lucky not to be injured. The plastic is sticky when the chair rolls over it. I rolled my desk chair on it several times to see if I liked it, but the sound I got when the chair passed over it was quite irritating. It is strange! I will return it to you.

It has a unique "feature" that makes it stand out If your carpet has a high pile, it WILL NOT remain in place! I have updated A day in September There was a problem
4/5

Cracks of a large size. It has been treated normally, and not in any way mistreated. The battery broke after just more than a year. Amazing how hard it is Warranty information on the website states that it is valid for 10 years. In the morning, we will reach out to them. However, on a positive note, we've become quite fond of these products. It is true that they drift on high pile carpets (as we have discussed However, under the new system, we consider it to be more of a feature than a flaw. The chair can be lifted off the pad, slid back into place, and the chair can be put back on. We get exercise just picking up the chair and sliding it back into place. Secondly, we find it's a lot easier to clean the carpet beneath the pad because 1) the pad doesn't stick to the carpet and 2) the pad isn't super flimsy and can be handled with one hand while using the vacuum cleaner with the other. There has been some discussion about spraying sticky or glue-based products on the bottom of the mat to encourage it to The sticky stuff we use on carpets that don't belong to us is not for sale. In light of the company's assurance of a 10 year warranty, I am becoming more and more fond of them. *We do not get to pick the carpet from the apartment that comes there "apartment living" - Our old chairmats had those "low places" and cracking problems after moving them into the new house due to the high pile carpet. Our choice was Gorilla Grip (Polycarbonate) Chair Mats since we heard that they don't sag on I have been using these two tools for over a month. I work from home, and I use them at least 3 times a day. On a daily basis. These are very sturdy and are holding up well. Their only downside is that they move a lot. All the time! With just a little effort, they will move a few inches in just an hour. The 3rd and 4th time we take a stretching break (every 20 minutes or so), we roll our chairs off of our mats, slide the mats back into place, and then place the chairs back down again. Initially, we attempted to be optimistic then, we reexamined the idea finally, we chose to be realistic Nevertheless, we're starting to get really frustrated with the situation. As a whole, the small bumps or blunt "spikes" on the bottom of the mats just don't seem to be long enough to actually do anything. The size of them is between 2mm and find it troubling that Gorilla Grip claims that its product is designed to stay in place on carpets which have a HIGH pile. A quote by In addition, the chair mat's design has a studded underside to help keep it in place on carpets of all piles (even high pile carpets). The following is from a source cited here Here is where you can find information and product details about Gorilla Grip at their official website and Amazon. We respond in the following ways to a claim like that Not at all. Has no such behavior. The mat floats on high pile carpets and will need to be fixed periodically due to drift.

Maybe Gorilla Grip offers another product that should prevent these things from sliding on carpets with a high pile? If you could tell us what that would be we'd be extremely grateful. If you do not want to use Gorilla glue or tape, you can go without Our security deposit is a deposit on an apartment, and we wish to keep it. Summary of ) In short, we are pleased with the sturdiness and durability of this product- There are too many reasons to praise those aspects. Although this product appears to be unadjusted, note that it seems to affect other products. It is designed to stay in place on high pile carpet. This is the kind of carpet you need if your carpet has a high pile. Don't waste your time with this.

Is never able to stay still
3/5

I find this mat to be very It's been about a month since I used it, and so far there are no spots the wheels sink into. Although I am frustrated that it does not stay put, I am not surprised at all. Since I generally get into my chair from the same side (the right), and my mat moves to my left every day, I have to straighten it out every Last time I had the same issue with my My husband and I share an account, so the responses are sent to his. I did try contacting the seller after a week or so, but I was unable to reach As I figured I might return it, I left the label on. (I never heard back from you It may have existed but I'm not sure. It would have been better if I had stayed on top of things since I would have My back is so sore that I don't feel like getting on the floor to fix it daily. The return point is beyond my reach now, and I am stuck. A very frustrating experience!.
