You should start by unrolling it in the opposite direction from where it came rolled up. Once the corners are unrolled, place the rolled up carpet under the feet of a chair or other heavy object so that it will grip the floor. A few days from now, it should be possible to place it flat under the

arrived rolled, and even after being in the open for more than 24 hours, it has not moved an inch and was therefore unusable. It's the first time a rolled up mat of this kind has ever been shipped before. I thought this item was sturdy, but if it can't even lay flat, it is useless. The local store has one I can pick up. There were several reasons for the choice I made. One was the size, one was the type of floor, and the other did not have The seller will have to return it to me today because I needed it today. It will be a waste of time if you use this product - It will be as disappointing for you as it was for me. I have bought every other product I have purchased in a large box and the product was immediately usable! There is even a seller who tells you to wait at least a day because you can't immediately use the item. There is no doubt about it! Consider finding some weights if you were able to unroll it, which is not possible. Honestly, this product is crazy.
Despite being a strong plastic, it leaves indentations on the plastic that don't spring back after use. I really liked it, but I didn't like the fact that it doesn't spring back after a chair hits it. As can be seen in the attached photo, the wheels of the chair have left golf ball sized indentations after not being used since yesterday. As our carpet is a thin, low pile fabric, I can't imagine who would benefit from this unless we were the ones to use it.
In the description, we are told "use on low-speed devices" Despite the term "low-pile carpet," they mean a carpet with little to no pile. This mat has a pile Berber carpet and I cannot get the chair to roll on it. As a result, the chair sinks into the mat due to its pliability. The mat was purchased as a result of lower back pain and the need for a comfortable and easy chair roll. I have experienced more issues after using it. It did not solve my issue.
I would never use this product again. As a result of the chair, there are indentations in the mat that make it impossible to move.
Had a rug that I wanted to protect from my chair, but didn't want it to be damaged. Consequently, the pattern remains visible while being protected. In fact, it is virtually invisible, and it is the perfect size for the extra wide configuration I have. I went through quite a few options Had no intention of spending a lot of money on a temporary work space but needed one that would meet his needs. I have been using it for quite a while and have not had any problems. There are indents left on my roller file mat if the roller is left in the same spot for a long period of time, but once the mat is moved, they disappear.
My mat smells even after nearly a month, since I bought it in early April. The problem doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. While I had trouble unrolling it at first, once I started it and put my chair on it, it flattened out and became much easier to use. This is the perfect size and shape for me, but I hate that it smells so strong. Although I have a very low pile carpet, I haven't had any problems with it getting dented either.
To use in my carpeted basement, I bought this chair alongside an office chair. Chairs have a smooth surface when they are firm and thick. That surface was neither firm nor thick enough. I ended up denting it very quickly when I put the chair on it. It turned out that I got a tempered glass chair mat instead, which was much more expensive, but a substantial improvement.
The product appears to be of good quality It's made well enough for what it is, but don't expect it to keep its shape against a heavy office chair on even a slightly softer I would recommend this product only if you have a very hard carpet.
Rolling around is hard because if you sit in the same spot for very long, there will be indents in the mat where the chair used to be. Since I'm not a large person, the carpet is not incredibly plush, and the padding is not super thick either. The next time I buy it, I'm not sure.
