The "Dimex" on my carpet is too soft, too. I have a low pile carpet as well. It is unclear if they make the mats any thicker or harder, it might be worth looking around since this mat is not what you are looking for.

In the descriptions, the only difference I see is that the c532003g is designed to handle low pile carpeting and the c532001j is designed to handle low and medium pile carpeting. My guess would be that it is the diameter of the plastic spikes on the bottom of the mats that grip the carpet and keep
Selected User Reviews For Dimex Low and Medium Pile Carpet Office Mat Chair Mat, 36" x 48" (C511003J)
2 major defects have been found in this product This is due to the dimples/depressions created by my office chair, as well as how it creeps. It is extremely difficult for me to reposition my chair because the DIMPLES/DEPRESSIONS hinder any movement in the chair. They don't go away, and I am unable to maneuver the chair. As another problem, this mat CREEPS to at least 2 inches after I work at my desk for 2 to 3 hours. You may be interested to know that I have premium carpet and pad from Home Depot in my house Not much to tell. A lightweight IKEA chair with five wheels holds my 187 pound weight, and it is fitted with lightweight materials. You can see a picture of the dimples/depressions in the HJ review of October 3, 2017. I have a worse problem with mine, causing the chair not to move as desired. It appears that the manufacturer, as well as Mr. Jones, both knew of the major defect, because HJ's REVIEW, among others, highlighted this major flaw. It is BEZOS who couldn't give a damn that their customers are wasting their money on this piece of junk. I would strongly encourage you to not waste your.
The product is not strong enough to prevent dents and valleys in the chair mat caused by office chair rollers. In addition to being dimpled, the plastic mat appears to have craters. I am very disappointed in the quality and usefulness of the product.
The purchase of this was a big mistake for me- It wasn't necessary for me to read the reviews because I only looked at the stars. It is much easier to rely on the reviews rather than reading them yourself. In order for you to glide your wheeled chair over carpet with ease, this product has been designed to provide it with a non-slip surface. A total failure at the sole task it was designed to handle! The mat was put down on medium pile carpet (kinda deep) and when we first put it down I had high hopes since I found it dug deep into the carpet and was a pain to move around Due to the way it grabbed the carpet, you may need to adjust it. After working for about 5 hours in one spot in my very normal office chair, I had to roll, and I found it quite difficult to do so. Since my chair wheels had resting divots, they had been causing damage. It was my hope that the mat wouldn't stick to the floor My expectation was that the divots would become smaller over night if I removed the chair completely, but this did not happen. As I used it more, there were more divots I am making a BIG RETURN with this transaction. In some way or another, the manufacturers decided to use less plastic and it turned our to be a horribly disappointing It is necessary to make this mat thicker so that it will serve its purpose.
I couldn't get it to work. This probably makes sense for someone who isn't large, but I'm 6'4 and 270 pounds, and it just didn't work here. The first five minutes I was sitting in my chair, it was already indented and dirty. There are still ways to roll around, but they don't seem to be sufficient. My guess is I will keep looking for someone to replace her. In the past 6 years I've had my old one and I loved it. Mats like these are no longer made like they used to be.
This mat is a total failure. I have been using it several weeks now. The reviews were not accurate, but I paid a lot for a poor quality mat.
Despite its specific sizes, this mat is not worth the price. There is no suitable material for medium pile carpets since it is thin and too flexible. The mat subtly dent and the chair does not roll on its own within minutes of sitting in it. Also, the chair is kept from rolling easily due to the dimples. This mat will be replaced by another one that will cost a few dollars more than the one I purchased. It must have been an expensive lesson.
There is no lip on the low pile and medium pile versions. Among the pros Those extra large sizes and shapes are very appealing to me. Despite its small size, it gives me ample room to move. I have a petty gripe Rolls of this were meant to be packed together. I got it as a squished oval when I got it. There are still creases on my shirt that I have not managed to remove. Hopefully, after a while, it will disappear. *Con *Con I can really think of only one con, but it is an important one. This is because the pad is not stiff enough for medium pile carpeting. There are divots in the pad of my chair when I sit in it. As a result, the chair is difficult to roll in these areas. As such, I suspect the pad will work well on carpets that have a low pile, but I wouldn't recommend using it on carpets that have a medium pile. Edited to add I have been noticing creases for several weeks now but they don't go away The middle of my mat contains a hill that I must roll over in order to get to the end. As I write this, I am still absorbing it. There's nothing good about it, and it's frustrating. After years of using the same mat, I bought a new one. This would be a good product for people who have low pile carpets only. It is a product I would return if I had the opportunity.
The material is way The wheels of the chairs sink into the carpet, they should have been made of a thicker, It is not worth your while if you weigh over 100 pounds. Carpet was supposed to be the intended use for this product.
It has barely been 15 months. My chair mat collection includes a large number of them The chair is the same as the HM. It usually lasts between 5 and 10 minutes The age of six. There was no reason for this ne to be cheap, and it has broken My Ipod Touch has been with me for 15 months and I'm not sure it will be able to make it much longer. That was a disappointment.
