Excellent craftsmanship. I've only had them for a week or two, but I love them. I placed an order for two. They're rolled up when they arrive, for obvious reasons. I unrolled them and placed a few items on the corners, such as books, to help them lay flat. They are perfectly flat and work great after only two days.

The mat appears to be in good condition, but it has two major flaws that I believe warrant a one-star rating! 1. br>br> It comes in a ridiculous package. To so- The 48x36 mat was rolled up so tightly that it fit into a 3" x 3" x 3' box. To begin the process of getting the mat to lay flat, I placed it in the sun with four weights (2 8-pound, 2 8-pound, 2 8-pound, 2 8-pound, 2 8-pound, 2 8-pound, 2 8-pound, 2 pound and 5 pound pound) keeping the corner in place. I was able to put the mat in my office after about an hour in the Florida sun, but it still didn't lay flat. Even after 6 hours, the mat is still not completely flat. I don't mind rolling the mat up for shipping, but I think it was rolled too tightly! 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br My mat is only 48"x36" in size, despite the fact that it is advertised as such. 56" x 47 31" is the size of this painting. These may appear to be minor distinctions, but they are not. The mat I received is 45 inches wide and 45 inches long due to the reduced length and width. 7 sq. in. a smaller space than the 1,728 sq. ft. in. , based on the 48"x36" mat that was advertised. br>br>I'm contacting customer service to see if I can get a refund, but it's a waste of time.

The mat works well, and we haven't had any issues with it laying flat or curling permanently. It was delivered in hot weather, which may have aided in its flattening. We've walked on it and haven't noticed it moving in any way.

This mat is extremely thin, and the product photo depicts a much larger mat under the chair than this one! The mat is only 10" wider from front to back than the chair wheel to wheel, or 5" forward and 5" back, so the perspective depicted in the photo is misleading. It arrived tightly rolled up to just under 2" thick. It took two people just to unroll it onto the hardwood floor. to place the chair on top of it and secure it It continued to roll up even after that. It's a lot like herding cats. Even after parking two of the five chair caster wheels on that edge every night for 45 days, it hasn't flattened out on the end that was in the center of the roll. The mat is thinner than poster paper, and the side with the unflattening edge "walks" forward and jams under the bottom desk drawer, forcing the drawer open at least three times per day. It's gotten to me - I'm sick of it. I wish I could go back in time and return it within 30 days.

First and foremost, I appreciate how sturdy and heavy this mat is while still allowing me to see my hard wood floors underneath it. br> The mat hasn't shown any signs of wear or tear in several months. br> I also like how it slides to the edge of the desk area, then is molded to transition under the desk area, preventing your feet from prematurely wearing out the floor. br> This is an excellent product for which there is no substitute, in my opinion.

The chair mat arrived in excellent condition and was delivered quickly. I laid it out as directed, and it was flat in a day or two. I placed it under my chair, smooth side down, on top of our wood laminate floor, as directed. However, there isn't much of a difference in the way the two sides feel. The non- The smooth side isn't as rough as the rough side. I noticed that the mat had moved within the first hour, and by the end of the day, it had moved about a foot in a rotating direction. Over the next few days, I put it back in place several times and then turned it over with the smooth side up, but it continued to move. The corners and edges curl up as it rotates and brushes up against my credenza. Then I reinstalled it, which resulted in curled edges that needed to be flattened. It's worth noting that I'm sitting in a roller-wheeled commercial office chair. I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed with this product.
