It's important to note that the above image is deceptive. The 36" side appears to be from the tip of the lip to the opposite side, but the correct full measurement is 42" from the tip of the lip to the opposite side, as stated above.

The mat is not sunk by the wheels! Glass Desk Chair Mat, where have you been my whole life? br>For as long as I can remember, I've been fighting chair wheel depressions caused by mats

And the wheels always seem to track them down and collide with them. But not any longer! Now I have smooth-riding wheels that don't have that problem. br>I was looking for a mat with a lip that would fit under my desk, and this is it. My (equally expensive) plastic mat would "walk" into my desk and "crimp" up. No more. It appears to be excellent; "Doesn't walk," as the saying goes. "br>PURCHASE IT AND ENJOY IT.

Only time will tell if this is true. Looks fantastic, and the Aeron chair glides effortlessly. I purchased two of these and they are both excellent. Simply be cautious of items that may fall off the desk. We'll see how long it lasts with the grandchildren.

For a very reasonable price, this is an excellent product! I have both this glass mat and a Vitrazza, and this one is just as good at a third of the price, so it's a great deal!
