There is no indication of where the item was made. Maybe it was printed on the box? Regardless, it is of the highest quality.
I'm a bigger lady. I couldn't fit through it because it was too narrow. I had to figure out a way to make it work for me, and I wasn't very successful.
The cover is made of two layers of heavy polyester and has no-slip beads on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. The quality of this pillow appears to be excellent. Unlike most pillows I've used, this one does not compress. I've never had anything as good as this.

If you have a painful protrusion on your coxys, this will only increase the pressure and thus the pain. Otherwise, I am unable to comment on the efficacy of this pillow in treating other ailments. Returning for a refund was necessary.

I use mine for 10 hours a day and it is very comfortable. It doesn't seem to be losing any of its shape. This was given to me during my pregnancy as a result of severe SI and tailbone pain. It really helped relieve the pressure on my tailbone, and I've been using it every day since I gave birth to keep the pressure at bay while I recover from labor. It's not the most comfortable to sit on for several hours at a time, as I did during pregnancy due to pain, but that's to be expected because it needs to be firm enough to keep the pressure off the sensitive areas. Very useful for long car rides and sitting for a couple of hours.
For a hard wood chair, it's fine, but not for a soft chair or a bed. It's like sitting on a hard, unforgiving rocky surface. I understand you don't want to sink, but this feels like a life preserver on a boat. Memory foam is not one of them. It can be collapsed and returned instantly. An office chair would be ruined if this happened.
