The most crucial step is to determine the center of the holes. The replacement arm should fit if the holes are spaced correctly. Simply use a match to replace the holes in the center of your chair. I'm unfamiliar with the term "leap v 1."
Is the pad's base similar to the one on your chair now? The 4" hole separation proved to be accurate, and they fit perfectly on a generic Staples chair.
My Office Star Model 5500 Mesh Chair was able to use it successfully. As long as the "cut-and-paste" method is used, everything will be fine. They will work (5 3/4" by 1 3/4" with screws 4" apart) because the "out area" where the screws go is the same.
My chair came with metric screws as standard. Purchase some that will fit at your local Ace Hardware store. My new arm required a 1/4-inch -inch -inch -inch -inch - inch 20 screw.

Installation takes less than a minute. Super in- Deliveries made the next day! Pictures can be found here. Dimensions are exactly as they appear in the description. I only needed to replace one old arm rest pad that had cracked and disintegrated due to wear and tear over time and heavy use - The second pad will be kept as a back-up until it is required. *Don't toss out your old arm rest, mount, and hardware just because the arm rest pads are cracked or deteriorated!.
I used these pads to replace the arm rests on my gaming chair, and they worked well, though the screw holes were quite small. It didn't allow the original screws to tighten into the chair's frame, and it didn't come with any screws of its own. I had to use washers to tighten the screws onto the frame and prevent it from wobbling due to the screws being too loose (the screw couldn't tighten any further due to the shallow holes).
My chair had cracked armrests. My shirt and/or skin would get pinched every time I rested my elbows on the arm pads. What a fantastic way to annoy someone. Hubby recommended ordering these replacement arm pads just as the chair was about to fly out the window. They arrived quickly, and my husband quickly changed them. I'm going to keep the chair and my husband for a while longer.
These are great because they're an exact match for the original arm pads. These will work as long as the mounting holes are 4 inches apart. It makes no difference how long the pads are. It appears to be made of hard plastic, which should prevent the original foam pads from cracking and disintegrating when they come into contact with the front desk edge. Also, the screws are not included with these pads. The screws that go with these pads are 1/4-inch long. 20 bolts. My original screws are 1/2 inch long, but they aren't quite long enough. Purchase (4) 1/4-inch thick slices of cheese at the store. Add (8) 1/4" washers and (4) 1/4" split washers to the 20 by 1" long screws to truly secure it.
These were purchased to replace the arm rests on a chair I purchased from Office Depot Mexico, which were made of a lightweight foam material covered in vinyl and began to crack within weeks of purchase. The right one had completely disintegrated after more than a year. The new arm rests are much more durable and of higher quality than the old ones. They don't have quite as much "give" as the originals, but they're still quite comfortable. They were exactly what I needed. All I had to do was locate the (thankfully nearby) hex key that came with the chair, remove the chair's two screws, and then use those screws to secure the new arm rests. The holes were perfectly aligned with each other. This purchase has made me very happy! br>br>After more than a year of use, the following was edited on July 16th, 2021: Even so, these are fantastic. They haven't disintegrated and have essentially moulded to my forearms, making them extremely comfortable.
The arm is resting on a perfectly good 20-year-old 20-year-old 20-year-old 20-year- My arms were irritated and annoyed by my year-old home office chair, which had crumbled apart. I was about to buy a new chair when I came across these on Amazon. I double-checked the measurements on my existing arm rests, and these appeared to be a good fit. So I placed an order for them, and they arrived two days later. The issue has been resolved! br>br>They are a perfect fit. It was a breeze to set up. Just make sure to put one screw in first, lightly tighten it, and then add the other while the pad is still moving. Take turns tightening each one until the armrests are secure, and you're finished! br>br>It's all right to be comfortable-- They're sturdy enough to last, but soft enough to protect elbows. I'm glad I found this product because it saved me money and time from having to buy a new chair.
A rip on the top of one of the chair armrests had occurred during a move, so I needed this replacement. The other armrest, which is an original, is still in good working order and shows no signs of wear. This replacement, on the other hand, is falling apart and is nowhere near as well-made as the original. The seams of the plastic are literally ripping. I attempted to cover it with naugahyde but gave up due to the unusual shape and inability to get any type of glue to stick to the underside. I was able to force some hot glue into the broken seam and turn the armrest 180 degrees with some success. However, I am dissatisfied with my current situation. Not in the least! br>Review from the start: br>I paid a little more to this vendor because I liked how transparent they were about the measurements. The product was delivered on time. They are more durable than the old ones and should last for a long time; they also fit perfectly.
