These were purchased for a Staples Hyken chair that had lost its armrests due to a recent move. The package was well-packaged, and the mounting bolts were included. The fact that they had mounting "rails" rather than fixed drilled "holes" helped make installation a breeze. " I'm very happy with my purchase, especially since I just eyeballed the bolt patterns and hoped they'd fit.
These replacement arms are extremely durable. Because the holes are elongated, you can make minor adjustments to make them fit your needs. They come with all of the necessary hardware as well as an Allen wrench. br>These replacement arms were a good second-best option for my chair. I say this because the Alera company refused to sell me or their distributors the actual arms I needed for my ALE MX4517. So, if you buy an ALE MX 4517, be aware that you will be unable to obtain parts for it, even if you are willing to pay for them.
Because it has threaded inserts that match the slots, these arms are a perfect match for our no-name chair. Our chair's mounting inserts form a triangle, with two inserts in each corner. At the base of the triangle, space the lines 1 1/4 inch apart, and on the pair's centerline, space the third line 2 inches apart. The hardware is a quarter-inch thick. 20 thread (included with arms) I was, and continue to be, astounded that these arms fit our chair perfectly. The arms were simple to put together and adjust, and they are well-padded. They're a worthwhile upgrade if they can be fitted to your chair. Everything went smoothly, including the quick Amazon delivery, and now I'm waiting for the chair to completely disintegrate and force me to retract my statements. Seriously, if you have the ability to use these arms, BUY THEM!.
I had been debating whether or not to purchase a new chair. Years ago, one of my arms (plastic) broke off, and I had to live without it for a long time, but the new arms (and the bolts that held them on) fit perfectly. I also consider the brackets to be an upgrade because they are made of metal. Now, my chair is a Chinese knockoff, so I might have gotten lucky, but take a look at the photos, eyeball your bolt holes, and go for it!.
It does what it says. It's an excellent value for $30. The only thing that could be improved is a lower base resting position (even the lowest setting is too high for my comfort). They're also not the most durable (the plastic connects to the metal base shakes a little), but for the price, you get what you pay for. This is a fantastic product for making a low-cost office chair.
This was purchased to replace a chair of a different brand, and it was a perfect fit! All I needed to do was go to the hardware store and purchase various screw sizes. It would be nice if it included a variety of screw sizes. Excellent value for money.
My broken chair's arm rest was easily replaced with this product. If I hadn't found this product on Amazon, I would have thrown away the chair. Thank you.
installed on a deport or a grocery store- It's a branded chair that's just right.
