My previous home office phone developed some problems after many years of use, so I decided to replace it with a new one. It is quick and easy to set up the Panasonic phone It's a great application that is simple to use, intuitive, has many great features, and the sound is decent. In a review, I would rate less than five stars only because the quality of the speakerphone sound is not as good as it was on my last Even so, I can hear most callers with no problem, even when I have not great audio on my end. It is amazing how good the sound quality is on the handset. As a whole, I'm very pleased with this phone and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable landline telephone for their home office.
It is a great product, except it is a cordless extension and must be used in the United States.
There are a lot of nice features on this phone, and using it and setting it up is easy. Battery backup can be used if there is a power outage. Power is required to operate it, but it also has battery backup. The device does use FIVE AAA batteries, which seems excessive. Neither a battery nor a charger is included. One issue I have had with this device is that it does not work with an inline call-blocking device I have. I have a mechanical call-blocker plugged between my phone line and the phone, but the phone cannot even use it if the device is plugged in. Even if it hasn't been plugged into this phone, it will still work It makes this phone go dead no matter where on the line you place it. A call blocker is not included in the phone itself, which is a disappointment. The phone was sold as a business phone, so it deserves to have a call-blocking feature.
It is easy to use, but doesn't appear to be completely compatible with the phone line. Throughout our building, we have multiple phones connected to just one phone jack that each have two lines. It was easy to set up, I plugged the single telephone jack into the phone, and it worked. The camera has a number of good settings and features, and is easy to use. I like its thinness and easy handling, as well as the fact that it stays firmly on the table even when the cord is pulled although I would prefer a longer cord. I think it is because the original phone only has one jack input and the new one has 4 jack inputs in the back for each line. We could probably hook it up if we called an electrician, but if you have a similar set up this phone might not work as well.
I got this up and running in less than five minutes and it works great. In the past couple of years, I've had a difficult time dealing with the phone company, which was not this device's problem, but it almost didn't I could now see and hear all of my phones on one device, thanks to the solution they finally found. There are no great qualities to the sound quality, but the feature of combining multiple lines into one phone is sufficient.
With these Panasonic expandable lines, my small business can use this Panasonic Office Phone with no worries. Since I only use this phone for business, I have to leave my other phone in my home. My new phone has a very soft ring, and I will be able to add up to four lines as my business grows. A very good quality product, and the extra phones are not too expensive.
I had no trouble setting up my system. A satisfactory level of quality has been achieved. It is a terrific and reliable digital receptionist. It is backed up by a battery. I was able to use this service with my standard caller id subscription. I found the storage adequate. Call block is the only thing that's missing. The rest of the time, this might be a good choice for a small business.
