PANASONIC Corded / Cordless Phone System with Answering Machine and One Touch Call Blocking – 2 Handsets - KX-TGF352N (Champagne Gold)

This was purchased to replace a set of cordless phones that I had previously purchased. The ringer was controlled by a switch on the side of my old phones, which could be raised, lowered, or turned off. To turn the ringer on and off on THIS phone, I now have to go through a MENU. DO YOU THINK YOU'RE JOKING? br>EVERY NIGHT WHEN I GO TO BED, I TURN OFF MY RINGER ON ALL OF MY PHONES AND TURN IT ON IN THE MORNING! br>Here are the steps to using the handset to turn the ringer on or off (or adjust the volume of the ringer),br>I HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY NIGHT TO BOTH CORDLESS HANDSETS AND THE BASE. br>1- 2- Select the menu option from the menu bar. br> To get to "SETTINGS:", go three steps up. "
3- 4- Select "SELECT" from the drop-down menu. br> 5- Select "RING ADJUSTMENTS" from the drop-down menu. br>6 Go to "RINGER VOLUME"br>7- Press "SELECT"br> SELECT br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b To change the ringer volume, scroll up or down, or all the way down to OFFbr>9- Press "SAVE"br>FOLLOWING THAT, I HAVE TO DO THIS WITH THE BASE AND THE OTHER TWO HANDSETS EVERY MORNING,br>WHICH IS CRAZY. I dialed Panasonic's phone number. They advised me to purchase a Panasonic KX- TGE474S I purchased it from Amazon DID. WHAT'S MORE, GUESS WHAT? THE RINGER SWITCH IS LOCATED ON THE SIDE OF EACH HANDSET! As far as I can tell, the features are identical, but it includes an additional cordless handset. BUT IT HAS AN EASY TO USE RINGER SWITCH ON THE SIDE OF THE PHONE. br>So I gave THIS pathetic phone to a neighbor and am very happy with the OTHER phone where I can turn the ringer on and off with a switch. I'm surprised Panasonic didn't include that feature on THIS phone.

This phone appealed to me because it has a call-blocking feature. When a blocked call comes in, you have the option of having it ring once or not at all. Because telemarketers keep changing their numbers, it's a never-ending battle to block them. But since I got this phone, things have been so much calmer around here.

Panasonic advises that I purchase a new phone at full price, but why would I do so? This product should not be purchased; after 13 months of light use, the base unit failed - The numbers 1, 2, and 3 were among the buttons that had stopped working. I contacted Panasonic, who informed me that the 12-month warranty had expired and that my only option was to purchase a new phone at full price; I also tried online chat, but received the same response - the phone's warranty had expired. I will not be purchasing any Panasonic products in the future because of the lack of support for their defective product.

I'm in love with this phone! After reading reviews all over the internet, I decided to go with this one because all of the reviews were positive, and I was having issues with names not appearing when people called me on my old phone. One of the first things I did was add the names and phone numbers of people I speak with on a regular basis to my phone book list. When the phone rang the next time, not only did the name of the person on the other end of the line sound familiar, but it also sounded The caller's name was announced in addition to the numbers displayed on the screen. This method allows me to quickly rule out the calls I want to block because it's easier to tell the difference between the two by allowing telemarketing calls to go to voice mail and listening to them rather than simply pressing the call block button. Even when talking on the phone with others, the cordless handset's screen/keys illuminate, allowing you to see the name/flash button. If you want to take the call, you must first decide whether or not you want to take it. It also comes with a hands-free speaker, and even on speakerphone, conversations are crystal clear. These are just a few of the features I like best about this phone; there are plenty more. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a new landline phone to purchase this model. Panasonic has done a fantastic job!.

I purchased this item because I am confident in the Panasonic brand. I own a number of their items and have never had a problem with any of them. This phone appealed to me because it included all of the features I was looking for. It's been a few weeks since I've used it, and something odd has happened. I mostly talk on the phone in my hand, and while I'm talking, I hear a crackling, and the person on the other end keeps saying, "I don't hear you, are you still there?" So I hang up and dial their number, and after a few minutes, the same thing happens. So I switched to my second hand-held phone, and it happened again after a few calls. I then attempted to use the base phone, but the problem persisted. I am no longer able to use the telephones. HELP! I really need a home phone right now. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you. AT&T's phone was the only one that came close to this one. T, but I'm hoping you'll be able to assist me. Thank you for your time and consideration, and may God continue to bless you.
