Which option is preferable? Is it better to get a Trio 8500 with these two mics or an 8800 without them (both options are about the same price)?

I have an 8800 hundred and purchased the two additional microphones, but they are not required because the sound quality is excellent. Hands down, the 8800 is the way to go.

Is it true that there are only three cords on each side? Is it better to have 5 feet on each side or 7 feet on each cord? Check to see if the cords are included. TY?
