AT&T 2 Handset Corded/Cordless Answering System with Caller ID/Call Waiting (CL84202)

This is the gift I bought my 78-year-old mother I grew up with a mother who is 89 years old and a father who is legally blind. With the big screen and easy-to-read buttons, they can see how to dial out without a problem. It was easy to connect the phone and the feature where you can program other people's numbers to be announced on the phone is wonderful. In addition, it is awesome that my dad can call my mother when I am in the kitchen from the intercom. I highly recommend it for elderly people because it is very easy to use and is great for those like my mother who are technologically illiterate. Taking it on!.

As a replacement for our older AT&T, we used this We purchased the T brand cordless phone system, and we are very pleased with it. Our cordless phones are mounted in other rooms of the house and the wall phone lives in the kitchen. One of the features of this phone system is the ability to register more handsets and even two headsets if you need them, if you need them. You will be told what the caller ID number is so you can tell who is calling instead of letting it go to your recorded inbox. It also displays a visual caller ID so you will also be told who is calling. In terms of the wall mount configuration, there are a couple of things I think could have been improved. In the first place, I have an old AT&T phone There was a separate wall mount plate on the phone handset, so that when it was mounted tight on the wall mount plate, it could make a snug fit for the phone. There is no separate wall mount plate for this one, which means you have to line up the screws in the wall phone jack with the bottom of the unit, meaning that the screws must be loosened a bit to fit, which overall makes the mount a bit looser. Secondly, if you are mounting the phone on a wall phone jack, the cord you run from the wall to the phone is going to be very short. As an alternative to the long cord, it would have been nice to have a very short cord We had a lot of trouble getting it to fit within the back of the unit so that we could mount the phone. Since we only had the long one, it proved complicated to make sure it would not interfere with the mounting.

A set of two handsets and a charger came with this model. Over the course of eight months, one of the chargers lasted. Due to my husband's hearing loss and hearing aids, the volume of the speaker phone mode on the handset is too loud for him. No cost will be borne by me in purchasing a new charger for my phone. However, I have replaced the battery in the handset and the unit is still not charging. I would not recommend this.

There are 4 cordless phones and 1 corded phone with my trusty old Uniden, which has a corded phone. A friend bought this product from me. My phone list was not able to be copied to cordless phones, so I had to enter the entire list twice The sound was also not as clear as it should have been. It was difficult to understand the instructions. I would have returned the phone if a friend did not want it and I wouldn't recommend it.

As long as the charging station is fully charged, the cordless units are always ready for use. The quality of building is fine, but not as robust as it used to be on.

It is something that I own. There are a lot of features that aren't user-friendly. There have been many cordless phones in my life, but this one is not intuitive. It is difficult to figure out how to redial correctly. If you pushed the talk button and then tried to redial, you might think it would redial, but no! In addition, if you press speaker phone and turn it off, and then press talk, your call becomes disconnected? Whoa, what the hell are you talking about? The phone has been frustrating to use, and one of its handsets recently died to my dismay. Still no luck! I tried changing the battery, but it didn't work. This is a very poorly made and designed product.

There is no call blocking feature. The display is nice and large and bright, and the set is easy to assemble. There are several problems, however, including the audio quality. The sound quality, and especially clarity, is important to elderly people, so if you are purchasing this product for someone who would benefit from the large buttons and display, take note that the sound might be a dealbreaker for them. Many other models and brands also come with additional features, such as call blocking, which could be of benefit to people of all ages.

You should not worry about the AT&T One of Japan's largest manufacturers has bought the name of T brand. As for this telephone, I would consider it to be somewhat of an advance over some of my past telephones since everything works correctly. In the phone I had before this, CID and delete weren't able to delete old phone numbers Please read this AT&T message I've never encountered a problem with my T-Mobile phone.
