Even in a semi-remote location, this speakerphone performs admirably. open space (no door in a loft office). The 4- The mic array is a little small for a larger group (you should probably get a model with at least 6 or 8 mics), but it's perfect for a single person. I purposefully did not buy a Bluetooth model because I use it exclusively in my office and things like wireless connectivity and battery life are important to me. Instability is only exacerbated by power. Installing Windows 10 on a PC is as simple as plugging in a USB drive. There are no drivers to download, so it's plug-and-play. Microsoft Teams immediately recognized it once it was detected by the OS. For the price, this is an excellent purchase. There are a couple of minor drawbacks: 1. br>br> The speaker has an odd electronic/plastic smell to it. The odor took a day or two to dissipate after I used Lysol wipes to clean it thoroughly.
2. The speakerphone mics are muted when the mute button is pressed, but this is not synchronized with the Windows system setting. This means that you could be muted or unmuted in two places at the same time. Surprisingly, the system synchronizes the volume keys.
3. Nothing appears to happen when you press the power button. I'm just a little OCD with useless buttons, so it doesn't really matter.

This was purchased to be used in a home office. I was fed up with wearing a headset for hours on end and decided to give this a shot. So far, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I'm not sure how well the noise cancellation works because it's only a few feet away from me and there's very little background noise. My voice quality is good, and the speaker is good for voice calls, according to the feedback I've received. I tried it out for music, but it doesn't sound good for anything except voice calls. The mute button is linked to Skype, so when I press it, the skype app displays me as muted. The volume controls on the speakerphone are also integrated with Windows, so changing the volume on the speakerphone changes the volume in Windows. I've seen a few reviews that claim the power button doesn't work, but this is not the case. 1 minute must be spent holding the power button. It takes 2 seconds to turn off the speakerphone, but it does so. It stands to reason that you must be genuinely interested in turning it off. The volume and mute buttons only require a brief press, which would be a drawback if the power button reacted in the same manner. My main gripe is that they placed the USB-C port in the middle of the room. On the front of the unit (on the mute side), there is a C port. Stock photos give the impression that this is not the case. This is completely illogical. Now I have to turn the speaker around so that the mute button is the farthest away from me and the power button is closest to me. It's worth deducting a star because of the poor design decision. It's almost a five-star product for the price, and I have no regrets about purchasing it.
