A few weeks ago, I added a land line using my internet provider as the provider. My findings indicate that both parties could hear distinct interference, such as a buzz or a hum, when they were on the phone. A cable connected to this little device was connected to my phone and then to my internet phone. As soon as the buzz/hum went away, it was This little device is a great choice if voice quality is important to you. If you have a land line connected through a traditional telephone carrier, you would not need the device. VoIP interference can be eliminated with this filter.

Rather than spending more money on my own, I decided to shop at Amazon first! I got it to work! My husband told me to order a new system as soon as I called the landline from my cell after it was plugged in. The static was still present when I called the landline from my cell. Within a few hours, we got two phone calls from offices, who left messages that were much better written. They were very easy to understand! The problem seems to be fixed now. I am not sure why it took so long to work. Thanks to my first try, I am so glad I did!.

I went to Amazon looking for a new DSL filter because my old one had finally died on me. My decision to choose this one was influenced by the price. I am amazed at how well it works! It's one of those situations where you get more than you pay After plugging the phone in, I saw a crystal coral on the screen. My phone company installed the DSL filter, which was not as good. This is an excellent product if you are searching for a phone filter that works with DSL. It also arrived on time, without delays, and the package was very good for keeping them safe while they were in transit.
I have a new all in one printer with a fax machine that failed several initial tests due to line noise. I purchased this item, and I connected it directly to the modular telephone line jack for the FAX machine to work properly. It was a FAX test I did and I passed! I was able to clear all the noise with the filter!.
As my phone service is provided by my internet company, jack works fine, but a filter might help with fax usage well, no didn't. I am not sure if this is related to the filter or my ISP, but I get a dial tone not detected error.
Although this is recommended for answering machines, I got it anyway, and so far the sound and volume on my machine has been very good even though there have been some bad reviews.
