It has been very helpful to have a head set when I have pain in my shoulder. I can't get the message to repeat after I've heard it and it almost always ends on the end of the message. The machine can proceed to the next message now. After hearing the message for the first time, I can repeat it repeatedly until it clicks on to the next. Further retrieval of that message is not possible. According to my observations, the headset phone has a shorter battery life than the phone without it. The reason for ordering this set was that I already have an identical set that barely gets used (for another phone number), but seems to serve me well when needed. In any case, I had only purchased for occasional use. The device was ordered to replace a Uniden whose battery had run out. I was forced to use the barely-functional device for over two weeks before its replacement. It is a used set that I already had when the battery failed on the Uniden, and I found that it is unable to perform even basic functions. Speaker phone is inconsistent and does not work reliably on the two smartphones that I already have (identical to this one). An opening and an exit can be seen. Speakerphone is my primary method of communication. Because I have neck and back issues, holding the phone scrunched up on my shoulder for long periods of time is not an option. My decision to not buy another speaker phone after I discovered that both of the items I already own don't work was simply based on the fact that the speaker phones on them don't work. Due to the fact that I had to cancel too late, I had to refuse.

Ok, I'm basically writing to you for informational purposes. A used copy of this was bought for me. Similar to buying from eBay, it is like buying from a site like Amazon. Everything was in there and it came nicely packaged, so I was expecting that. However, it was a homemade device. I do appreciate the power cable that was included, though I'm not sure if there was one for the phone jack (we all have a couple lying around somewhere, It's not even that big of a I am giving it a 4 rating because of the missing instructions and a 1 rating for missing that. However, I got it for a fraction of the cost. Once I figure out how to use it, I will update this review (I have plugged it in, but I am You know how you can ruin a battery by checking the signal too soon after plugging it in) if it works. Then I will let you know how the phone works and if I will upgrade to a 5 by then. Hope we won't be downgraded (please god! There is no phone in my hand!.

The coiled cord on my old telephone kept tangling and causing problems. So, I moved to a cordless telephone. Following the reading of Amazon reviews. In order to incorporate phone and answering machine in one package, I decided to go with this model
I am quite pleased with my choice because it included an excellent "quick start guide. " I also appreciate the speaker phone feature, as my hearing is not as good as it used to be. I also have poor sight since my eyes have undergone three operations, but I can interpret the caller ID display without any difficulty. My only wish would be to have a way to block incoming politician calls once they are automated. Also, there is something to be said about the answering machine.
