Will the outgoing recorded message be saved if there is a power outage?

Yes, I believe so. (It hasn't been a long time since we've had a power outage.) For a long time, I left a lot of messages unread. I unplugged the machine and looked for a more convenient location for it after listening to them. I took it for granted. I'd have to rerecord the outgoing message, but while doing so, I discovered that the previous outgoing message was still present. Unplugging appears to be a good power outage substitute in my opinion.

Is it possible to turn down the volume?

The volume can be turned on and off with the push of a button. It also makes a big deal out of it.

Is it possible for me to record a message in my own voice?

You can, in fact, record your own personalized greeting.

It's a low-cost alternative to a basic answering machine, and it's easy to set up. br>br>I am purchasing this model for the second time. My only disappointment was that the seller sent it via US mail. br>br>The first device lasted four years and ended with a broken transformer cord. br>br>The second device lasted four years and ended with a broken transformer cord. br>br>My only disappointment was that the seller sent it via US mail. It took a week longer than expected to arrive.

My previous ATT 1740 had failed after a few years of service. I swapped it out for the same. I like this device because it isn't expensive, and I can hear the person on the other end of the line when they begin their message, allowing me to decide whether to answer the phone if it is legitimate or to ignore it if it isn't. In any case, the majority of Robo collars and scammers simply hang up without leaving a message. This device is extremely useful when used in conjunction with NOMO ROBO. I can also connect it to receive both faxes and phone calls.

It's simple to use, but the recording quality isn't great; it's simple to use, but understanding a caller can be difficult at times

It had been used, but was in like-new condition and came with the original manual; it was inexpensive, but perfectly adequate for my needs at home

The setup instructions aren't the clearest, but after a little thought, they're fine. the act of scratching I'm not sure if the other used ones available are as good as this one, but I'm satisfied with it.

simple to use! This was a steal (7 bucks) for the price I paid for my original one, 20 at radioshak, and it's great to have as a backup in case the three-year-old machine breaks down!
