Can this be used on Mac OS?

EPSON provides Mac OS driver for Mac, but you must download it

What color correction and photo restoration does it have?

The answer is yes. The program also removes dust and does some color correction. You can find some good tutorials on youtube that explain this. In the box you will find a disk with downloads for these features. The Epson software may be downloaded from the Epson website (as I did) if your computer does not have a disk drive.

Can you tell me how big the actual scanning area is?

A 5"x11" sheet

I used this to download 35 mm black and white negatives from 30 years ago

I got excellent results for a relatively low price. I really like how clean and crisp the pictures are. Sadly, the feature designed to remove scratches and dust actually distorted the picture substantially. Despite their age and shoddy condition, the negatives are still good enough to exhibit at a museum. In the end, I didn't require this feature, therefore was somewhat dissatisfied. All in all, the scanner produced quality versions of my negatives, both black and white as well as color It comes in both black and white and color. Excellent product that I'd recommend to anyone. Results that are relatively inexpensive and of good quality.

Downsizing pictures and documents can be fun

It wasn't until I got it that I realized how important this was to me. We digitized all of the photos and documents in the family. Making it easier to store (a thumbdrive, the cloud) and get rid of boxes of pictures no one takes notice of. Having no guilt of throwing things away allows me to share with the grandparents without feeling bad.

The scanner is of good quality Applicants should be able to connect to I find this scanner to be very useful

Thanks for letting me know about this. The fact that it does not support Ethernet, however, is odd.

To scan slides, I used it

I was very pleased with the digital ICE. We used it to restore slides that were in poor condition. The scanner did a terrific job of scanning the documents.
