It's not as user friendly as the fujitsu but does the job. Both of my scansnaps are fujitsu and I love them. Even though it does the job, it is not as intuitive as it could be.

My first look at this scanner showed that it came with paperport. I got the scanner and it did not come with paperport. As I scoured through the reviews I saw a couple of users who said they received the paperport with the scanner, and the reviews began in This image was last scanned in 2012, was it the same? My knowledge of this is limited. There was a problem with the software download, as it was very large and failed This was the result of Abby Fine's reader failing. It took so long to process the other software that I left it running overnight, so the other Next morning, there was a message on the screen saying the installation had failed, and I had no way of determining what had been executed. So, I had to use the manual installation method in order to view the downloaded files. My scanner will go back and I'll get another scan snappe.

You need to push a scan button to get a response quickly. By scanning color pages into black and white pixels, it converts them to color. Setting up this system is too complicated. Support representatives make you feel stupid when you call for help with a setup issue and speak to you like you're a child. It has no place in my household. I would not recommend this product to a dead grandparent.
