In order to use their software, you have to use their software.
I have never bought anything that has caused me so much frustration. Upon receiving the instructions on how to download the free copy of the scan, you are given a sheet of paper. I've been trying to get this thing to work for four days now. Neat's subscription policy makes me think it won't work until you pay ten dollars monthly to make it work. course, this is not mentioned at the time of sale for this obnoxious piece of equipment. Please don't waste your time on tech - they're a joke. Are you able to use it easily? Sadly, I'm going to have to return this in order to obtain a refund on the high.
We don't have any support! I think Amazon should get rid of Definitely a scam! This was returned today since it is not usable without the software that was supposed to come with it, but doesn't. There is no support from the company left since 2017. You should download the driver, but it doesn't work on the scanners, and there is no driver available for download. Rather than buying the Canon scanner, purchase the Fujitsu scanner. As long as Neat has the software and scanners, they are great, but you shouldn't expect the company to provide any assistance.
I figured out how to make it work, but it took a long time. A search of the web could not turn up the supporting software. The scanner did a good job once I figured out how to use it.
One time we stated that the product did not arrive with software discs. Download the Neat utility from the seller's website. The scanner is the only thing you can use from here. Neat isn't the software to use. It is essential that everything (including software) is.
We opened it and found that it was broken. No download disc was included with the product. I have no idea why it was described as used but as "like new". Every image I scanned looked like a pixelated screen of an old computer. I would recommend against it.
There was no information in the box. All that was there was the scanner and its cord. It wasn't the scanner cord that was connected to the power supply.
