It's like putting on a new pair of sneakers
5/5

It takes some time to adjust, but once you do, you'll be hooked. Unless you're used to dealing with higher-level issues, it's unlikely that you'll be able end capture software, or PaperStream Capture, the scanning software that comes with this scanner, can be intimidating, overwhelming, and seem like a huge waste of time at first, but once you figure out how to use it, you'll find that it's actually quite powerful and not that difficult to use. However, I believe the developers should hire a new UX/UI designer because the interface for creating scan profiles is quite poor. One reviewer claimed that the software would prevent them from putting scanned images in different folders, but this is simply not true. There are several options for completing this task, including using zonal OCR to automatically extract data from documents and route images to specific folders based on that data. Upgrading to the (unfortunately expensive) PaperStream Capture Pro unlocks a slew of new features, including the ability to do some serious on-the-fly indexing and create an entire workflow for not only scanning, but also quality control and document processing, such as scanning receipts and having a data field associated with the image files for things like vendor name or transaction amounts that can be exported in a CSV file and consumed by spreadsheets. These little scanners are truly incredible. br>br> On one of my two computers, I have over 97,500 scans. 7260s (as seen in the attached screenshot), and I've never replaced any of the rollers or even cleaned it. In addition, I'm a fiancée of a fiancée 6670, which costs roughly three times as much and requires cleaning every few hundred pages, with rollers lasting only about 10,000 pages. Given the low cost, low cost of operation, and moderately fast speed (most professional scanners are much faster than this one, but 60 pages per minute is borderline ridiculous for consumer scanning, and faster scanners cost orders of magnitude more), the image quality on this scanner is remarkable. br>br>One thing to keep in mind: While the ADF can scan a single page up to 215 inches long, it's difficult to do so because the paper moves too quickly through the feeder to keep it straight, and the flatbed can't scan a full 14" legal document. br>br>My only real gripes are the clumsy software interface and the fact that PaperStream Capture won't recognize that the scanner is connected on occasion, forcing me to delete and reinstall PaperStream IP, Fujitsu's TWAIN driver for fi-series scanners. Scanners from the series.

After three months, I'm finally shredding paper
3/5

Review is now complete: For the first three months, it worked fine, but then it began shredding paper (see photo). I'm on my third Fujitsu and this is the first time I've encountered this issue. I'd send this back if the return period had ended three weeks ago. I suppose I can now use it as a shredder? br>br>This is the third Fujitsu scanner I've owned. It performs admirably. I upgraded from a 7260 and it is slightly faster, but that appears to be the only difference. This manufacturer's software has always been a source of frustration for me. I started using Hamrick's VueScan program, which does an excellent job. It seems to include both the required driver and scanning software. My 7260 stopped working a few years ago after Fujitsu made a change. I spent several days trying to figure out what was wrong before downloading VueScan. In less than five minutes, I was up and running. So, the bottom line is that the hardware is excellent, but the software provided could be much better.

So-called "great scanner" as a result of software I have an older version (the Fi-1) that I would like to sell
4/5

When Windows XP was retired, this scanner became obsolete, and no drivers for later operating systems were made available. This scanner is a significant improvement over the previous one. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the included paper stream capture software, which is a letdown. I made use of the Fi- I purchased the Kofax VRS option with the 4220 and have been very happy with it for many years. If you want to be able to change image quality without having to rescan, the $650 Koufax VRS is well worth it. This is attempted but failed miserably with paper screen capture. To use with this new Fujitsu scanner, I purchased Nuance Power PDF Advanced and Kofax VRS, and I'm very pleased with the results. You might be able to get away with paper screen capture if you're not as picky about image quality as I am. In any case, I believe you will enjoy using the scanner.

Very dependable
5/5

I've used a fidget spinner to create a fidget spin For the past ten years, I've been using a Fujitsu 6240 scanner, which has proven to be extremely dependable. I've used Fujitsu SCSI scanners in the past for quick scanning and have never been disappointed. They're well-known for being one of the most dependable and long-lasting options available. scanners' long life.

I used to love you, but now I despise you
3/5

This scanner was fantastic when I first got it! After a year or so, I believe the driver was updated, and it no longer remembers the settings, and it crashes after a few pages are scanned. I've been trying to get this to work for four days and haven't been successful. It used to be a ten, but now it's a minus.

This scanner is exceptional
4/5

I used to have an older model of this scanner and it was fantastic. Until, by accident, my assistant "killed" it. As a result, I decided to purchase the most recent model. It functions perfectly; my issue is that the new software's learning curve is far from simple. I'm still stumped as to how to do something that used to be so simple. But I'm confident I'll be able to figure it out.

It's possible that third-party software will be required
3/5

The scanner is fantastic in and of itself. The software, on the other hand, appears to have a lot of limitations. To perform the actual scan and cleanup, I find that I need to use third-party software (ABBYY Finereader 12). The software that comes with the scanner is extremely disappointing to me.

Scanner that is ideal for small offices
5/5

This model maintains the highest scanning speed up to a resolution of 300 dpi even for duplex and color scanning, which is critical for those who have a large number of documents to scan. The quality of LED lighting is excellent, and there is no warm-up time. up delay. It was extremely quiet. It's a nice touch to have the device turn off after a predetermined amount of time. The processing software is one of the upgrades. It's necessary to upgrade the one that came with the scanner to PaperStream IP. It can be downloaded for free from the Fujitsu website.
