Questions & Answers

How do I find out what kind of memory stick this takes?

It's a Memory Stick from Sony

Would you be able to use wifi without adding more hard drive space to your computer?

Sorry, but I believe that's the only way to do it. It would be easiest to transfer internet from your PC, laptop, etc. and share it with everyone. Helping that help is what I do.

What kind of batteries does it use? Do you have rechargeable batteries or AA ?

The device is powered by a rechargeable battery inside.

This is helpful A pocket keepall that has all kinds of neat features - The Pipboy character
4/5

I don't think my parents or teachers will take it away (this is my very first PDA), but as far as I know, this thing is perfect! It has no color and no internet, so it doesn't cause enough distraction that they will Furthermore, because it lacks those two capabilities, it requires far less storage space for each piece of information I store in it and uses its battery more slowly than it would if it had those capabilities. All the information I've written down in this PDA is what I've always been thinking and saying to myself, "Man, how I wish I had a piece of paper so I could write down this thought right now!". I'm sorry to hear that. It seems I will just have to let it go. You get the idea, and more. There are only a couple of issues I have with this I. 1. Charge), runs through about 44% in the first fifteen seconds after unplugging. If the battery is broken, or if the way the PDA displays the battery percentage after charging, I do not know how to fix this. No matter how you look at it, this part is extremely * * 2. There are no slots for normal SD cards (the kind I have dozens of lying around with gigabytes of free space). The writing style of graffiti takes a long time to become familiar with. Although I'm not saying anything specific to this PDA in particular, I do want users who are used to iPhones and such to be aware of these things. There is no way for you to use your fingers effectively. There is no way to do anything more than click on the icons on the homepage with the stylus since it's too small to make any real difference. You may want to wait until after you deliver your baby you won't be bothered at all by it. It doesn't vibrate and even at the highest volume the sound is not too loud. Whenever you set your alarm to go off during a time when you are listening to music or when your baby is clinging, keep this in mind. Apart from that, this thing might be my new favorite thing. I see Amazon as the only hope (until of course Amazon comes along. Make Alexa work offline is actually a lot more difficult than it sounds I recommend not doing it).

It is small enough to fit in a pants pocket, but it is tall enough to take out of that pocket Display resolution is excellent on a monochrome display There is no need for an add-on component, since everything you need is already included
5/5

(All Quicken users. . . Pocket Quicken is a great alternative to keeping receipts in your wallet! I've relegated my Pocket PC to a drawer in my dresser. The 5-year-old shows no signs of stopping No matter how highly I rate this device, there are always flaws. Memory is not a problem yet (I have 10MB left free for data, even with memory sticks installed), but the Sony multimedia software is only marginally useful on a monochrome display device It would have been nice if I could remove it (or better yet, if I had purchased the color display. A) The buttons are a little too small for my large and would have liked to see a better selection of software included Especially disappointing is that most of the software included is a trial version only. I also dropped over half the price of the PDA licensing items I decided I couldn't do I would rate this product as near perfect!.

The proof is in, and the colors don't matter
5/5

It came at a good price, it is 320x320 with a memory stick port, it does not display in color, and it has documents to go with it. Among the things I miss in this clie are It's much easier to turn on and off when you press the on/off button. Hopefully a better version of Docs to Go will come out soon, because I can't Word and Excel are the only files I am unable to edit. Additionally, it would be great to have mail software that allows you to view All the batteries seem to be in good condition. I was impressed with the image quality. Colors are unnecessary for me, but I'd rather have grayscale My friends can receive my pictures either by mail or by email as I keep a notebook for this. A 16 MB memory stick is perfect. I also have a 8 MB memory stick (it is I have the ability to move pictures from my digital camera to my computer. Rather than using my notebook for meetings, I use my clie now because I can edit Word documents, update my outlook contacts and tasks, and send emails.

That's what I need! I was having no problems with my Vx until it started crashing randomly and I lost I have found the Sony SJ20 to be a perfect fit In spite of using nearly all of the features and software that is already included, I have not had to purchase Fortunately, I did buy a 64 Mb memory stick, which proved to be more than enough for my needs
5/5

Using the Documents2Go software (provided), you can sync Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents. If the backlight is off, it is difficult to read the screen (impossible under direct sunlight), but I regularly leave the backlight on, and the battery life has been impressive. Having said that, I'm curious as to why it's there in the first place As the screen is backlit, I have never experienced any issues, but since the backlight works so well, this has not Its screen resolution is far superior to the Vx and so I can carry around digital images of my family or anyone else around with me. My Sony has been with me for around six months, and I am very If you are a student or do not need/want the advanced feature of having color, MP3 player, and WIFI, then I highly recommend you go for this. For a great price, this handheld is built for practicality and provides great value.

This is a very useful This Sony Clie PEG-DC5 has worked well for me Using a SJ20 handheld device for geocaching
4/5

Because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a brand new PDA because I could lose or damage it while geocaching, I sought a used model. I thought this one was right for the job. Getting the geocaching software (CacheMate) up and running was easy. In researching this unit, I found out that newer memory sticks do not work. In order to use this camera, I had to buy an older memory stick that worked fine. While this unit does not have a color display, the screen is very easy to see, even in day light, unlike.
