The item was described as being in "used very good" condition and had not been tested. I took a chance and purchased it, and it turned out to be an excellent purchase. For my job, I needed an MP3 player that didn't have a camera. I had no intention of using it as a palm companion or a personal digital assistant. It serves its purpose for music, but the connectivity necessitates unnecessary work to complete the blue toothing, and wireless connectivity is limited to a specific type of connection. Aside from that, the device functions properly, and the sender will be rewarded with 5 stars for excellent service and packaging upon arrival.
The software CD, as well as the correct battery charger and sync cable, were missing when the Dell Axim arrived as a refurbished unit. Getting enough information to get started required a lot of effort. Obtaining the proper versions of Microsoft Mobile PC and ActiveSync has taken a lot of the fun out of this purchase. Okay, I'm not a computer wizard, but this was supposed to be a simple calendar with a color display. Although the screen has multiple colors, I can't use them like I could on my old PDA. Adding a simple appointment still necessitates several steps.
This handheld is just ok; I thought Windows CE was more user-friendly and faster? Yes, I find it easier, but not by much.
Shipping was quick, and communication was excellent. Item was almost brand new and, in my opinion, better than described.
