It's a super quiet work horse. I absolutely love it. Buying a micro cut shredder for the first time, and this little guy is working like a charm! It has not jammed or overheated at all while I have been using it. The shredding stack I had to work on got shorter and shorter using it constantly. Over the first few days after I purchased it, I really put it to the test. In just a few minutes it had cut over 1000 sheets of paper. I had 5 kitchen bags full of paper. I have never had any problems with this shredder jamming, squeaking or looking at the material I was shredding. A whole lot of paper types are shredded, including credit cards, stapled documents, junk mail, and various kinds of documents. For my craft room and home office, this is a great find! It has plenty of capabilities that make it worth the purchase price.

My old plastic Fellowes shredder, which was still functional, but dull, aged 12 years ago, was replaced with this one. The day is 3 hours old and I have already shredded a 6" stack of receipts and papers. In these photos, you can see the shred waste is small. The noise level generated by my shredder is sufficient so I can hear music while I shred. * Another useful feature is that the shredder waste is totally enclosed, meaning the basket cannot leave small paper bits on the floor when removed. The item has also been pre-installed with wheels so its ability to slide under a desk when not in use is already built in. I find that it is slower than my old Fellowes shredder, but the features I mentioned are worth more than.

Researching shredders took quite a while, and I finally found the right product. It shreds into small confetti pieces, can handle up to 10 pages at a time, and looks like it will shred staples as well. In addition, this shredder can handle high volumes and can run continuously without becoming overheated. The book is definitely worth a read.

It is a serious problem today that people steal their identities. I really like how the teeny tiny pieces that come out of this shredder. While it is easy enough to use, it could be improved. A small slot is provided where one can insert the paper in order to minimize the risk of fingers being shredded. It wouldn't be good to do that. As a result, the paper has to be angled at exactly 90 degrees in order to come in. There is no way to work with 85. There is also just a hair over 8 1/2" in width, so you have to be very careful to get the paper in perfectly to ensure that it will not fall out. As I see it, the application can be designed to accommodate more flexibility of use. I like to think of a funnel as an analogy, since it allows for greater flexibility in one's work while being less precise. The same applies to putting the basket back into the machine as soon as it is empty. takes about three or four tries to get it in place every time. Designing it in such a way that it would be easier is possible, in my opinion. In the past, we didn't encounter this problem with our shredder.
