Questions & Answers
After 30 minutes of total shredding time, or twice a month for light shredding activity, lubricate your paper shredder blades.
You can only use these lubricant sheets if you have a shredder that can handle at least 5 sheets at once and fold them to feed them through. Unless your shredder's manual specifically states otherwise, you should try using a liquid cleaner. Both are things I use.
It all boils down to how much weight you need to lose. If I'm going to do a lot of shredding, such as getting rid of old paperwork, I'll lubricate first and then finish with a lubricated sheet. It could be a few months before I lube it again if I only shred 2 or 3 sheets per week.
It resembles two thick sheets of paper in appearance and feel. Between the sheets, there is a layer of lubricant. Just like paper, you feed it through the shredder.

This does not make me happy. I returned to the description and read it once more. The product description below the reviews says 6 x 8, but I didn't notice that when I was reading the description at the top of the page.
The new shredder came with a package of lubricant sheets when I bought it after burning through several in previous years. I was surprised to see them, and I assumed that while it was logical to use them, they wouldn't have much of an impact. Boy, was I wrong! br>br>Using lubricant sheets (one after each session of shredding about 100 sheets) has kept my shredder in good working order for the past five years. The only difference is that I now shred more than I did when I was burning up other machines, and the only difference is that I now use lubricant sheets on a regular basis. br>br>The Shredcare Paper Shredder Lubricant Sheets are similar to the ones that came with my shredder, but they have a different name. They appear to function in a similar manner. After shredding one sheet, you run it through the machine in reverse for 10 seconds. That is all there is to it. Simple to keep up with. br>br>These are worth it to me to use at around a dollar per sheet. I don't have to worry about my shredder locking up or having to throw it away because these keep it working properly. If you want to keep your shredder in good working order, don't hesitate to purchase them.
These sheets are a must-have for my heavy-duty projects. Considering how much work they have to do, they should use a heavy-duty shredder. These sheets are simple and practical to use. It's as simple as that. No mess. My shredder has been in my possession for at least 5 years - reams of paper should be able to pass through it - Due to the fact that these sheets are used on a regular basis, it still runs like new.
These lubricant sheets are required if you own a paper shredder in order to keep the blades sharp. These are less expensive than other options available. When I use these on a regular basis, I notice a difference in performance.
These should be used after shredding a certain amount of paper, according to the shredder. Maybe if my other shredders told me to do this instead of buying a new one every year, I wouldn't have to buy a new one every year. They work well and leave no oily residue, which is beneficial to the shredder's longevity.
They really do extend the life of your shredder. I bought a fairly expensive shredder for my office 9 years ago and it's still going strong. It just keeps going by 'feeding' one of these sheets on a regular basis. If you shred on a regular basis, they are a must.
One sheet run through the shredder on a regular basis keeps teeth sharper and longer lasting.
I'm not sure if that's a common occurrence with this product, but it'd be fantastic if it didn't leak.
