If you're used to working with a TI-83 calculator, you'll find this to be a welcome change. This calculator is recommended for the FE exam if you are an 89, as I am. It took some time to get used to the trig buttons, but everything else is simple.
This is a fantastic calculator that can perform almost any calculation you can think of, but it is also quite complicated and not intuitive, which is not the calculator's fault; it is simply that sophisticated. It comes with a very brief instruction manual that does not provide enough information to use the calculator properly. The TI tutorial manual is no longer included with the software and is no longer available from TI. After several hours of searching the internet, I discovered the TI PDF manual, which contains all of the necessary information. Even if you are a math pro, much of the operation may be too complicated to use unless you can locate the manual.
I've never owned a graphing calculator before. This calculator is incredible value for money, and it's ideal for algebra classes. This is the best scientific calculator I've found if you don't need a graphing calculator. You can't beat the price, and I liked it so much that I bought another one. The only criticism I have is that the, - The keys, /, X, and enter are "chromed," making them difficult to read.
Perfect for my nursing program, does exactly what I need, and what more can I say? It's a calculator, after all!.
calculus. My daughter needed a calculator for a test she was taking. I thought this had all the right buttons and was the only one I could afford, but it can only do three matrices, and she needs at least four for her pre-calculus class. This is a calculus class.
Precalculus and other advanced math problems can be solved with this calculator.
It's a fantastic little device that can perform a wide range of tasks. I was in desperate need of it for my Statistics class. It can see up to 12 digits, but it would be nice if it could do more. When I bought it, however, I was aware of this.
