I've never owned or used a scientific calculator in my life, and I'm 45 years old. I recently decided to return to school, and I was required to obtain one for one of my classes. The sheer number of functions that this calculator can perform intimidated me at first. It's a good thing YouTube exists because there aren't any detailed instructions on how to use this. I found a few video tutorials, and with each one I watch, I grow more and more fond of this calculator. I'm blown away by everything it can do, and this isn't the more expensive graphing trigonometry calculator available on Amazon. This one is ideal for college algebra and even statistics, and it was very reasonably priced for all that it does.
It's now also cute! Calculators are extremely useful, and TI produces excellent products. As a result, there was never a question about that factor. This was the exact unit I needed for my MAC1114, so I ordered it. 0M2 (Trigonometry) class. It arrived in brand-new packaging and was ready to use right away. I ordered it because it came in green, which is my favorite color, and I hoped the batteries would last a long time. br>Compared to my previous calculators, it takes some getting used to, but it is a good unit.
When I first started school, my sister gave me an older blue version of this. I adored it, but as with all great things, it died. br>br>However, I adored it and it left such an indelible impression on me that I had no choice but to look for a replacement. This one was ordered in my favorite color, and it exceeded all of my expectations. It primarily outperforms me in math and is also cuter than I am. I highly recommend it whether you're in high school, college, or simply haven't retained any math from either and need something else to fill in the gaps.
This calculator is extremely inconvenient to use because you must pay close attention to ensure that it does not miss any button presses. If you make a mistake in the middle of a complex equation, you must clear everything and start over. It's a major annoyance.
The calculator functions normally, but the cover was scribbled on with a pen and was a different color (purple) than the calculator itself (green).
I purchased this for my daughter almost five months ago, and it is still in perfect condition! She adores the color and is the only one in her class with a green one, so there's no mistaking who owns it. If something happens to this one, I will definitely buy another.
You should already be aware of the superiority of TI Calculators if you are looking at this one. br>br>It does what you need it to do and is well worth the money. br>br>ALSO, TI Calculators are extremely hard to break, and they can last for years without issue (which is beneficial because you will be using this type of scientific calculator in many university classes). br>br>Also, the green color is purely aesthetic; it has no effect on the functionality.
