INOVART Lino Cutter Set with Wood Handle and 5 Cutters

I've been involved in linoleum and woodcut carving for more than 30 years, and I've seen a wide range of quality in carving tools. This is the worst; I'm pretty sure these tools would be safe in the hands of a four-year-old because they're too dull to cut anything harder than butter. The tips don't stay in the handle very well, and the little tool for inserting the blades is a gimmick. I'm not sure what I'll do with this set yet; I'm not sure I'll be able to carve anything with it. The metal itself does not appear to be of sufficient quality to sharpen. It's pointless! I gave it a two-star rating because it arrived on time and in good condition, but it did not perform as expected. No way.

The quality isn't as good as I had hoped. The blades aren't very sharp and the set is more of a kid's set. However, I will allow my son to use it. A great place to start.

The blades were dull, and the wood handle, which had not been sanded, was rough. On a sintra board, it was extremely difficult to create a relief with this tool.

This lino cutter set appealed to me primarily because of the wooden handle. The plastic ones always cause my hands to slip, so this one is much easier for me to work with. So far, everything has gone swimmingly. The knives are also very good at carving. It's possible I'll have to borrow one from someone else.

You can see how dull the blades are by clicking on the image for a closer look. This isn't something I'd buy.
