Selected User Reviews For Paisen 23 inch Hawaii Concert Ukulele Set Beginner Rosewood Ukelele for Adults With Tuner, Gig Bag, Aquila Strings, Capo, Strap, Picks, Full set of Ukele Accessories
To begin with, this ukulele is fantastic. Because I have a large ukulele collection, I prefer them to be one-of-a-kind. With its grape leaf carvings and multiple sound holes, this one definitely falls into that category. The dark wood coloring, which is lovely, is another feature that distinguishes it. Aside from its appearance, it has a fantastic sound. It's a bit of a deafening noise. There are no buzzing strings, and the wood and frets have no rough edges. It includes a beautiful case as well as some bonus items. The strings are one aspect of this ukulele that I don't particularly care for, but that is a matter of personal taste. Carbon fiber strings are preferred over nyglut (which is used on the majority of ukuleles). Overall, it's a fantastic ukulele that I can improve upon. I would suggest it.
I purchased this ukulele in order to learn how to play it. I was hesitant to purchase it at first due to a few negative reviews, but I am glad I did. It appears and feels much better than I anticipated. I think it's one of the best designs I've ever seen. It includes a slew of extra strings and a variety of accessories. Because it comes with a digital tuner, I won't need to purchase one or use a mobile app. It sounds great, and I'm hoping to be able to play actual songs with it soon.
On Valentine's Day, I purchased this Ukelele as a present for myself. (Don't mock it, single guy. ) br>br>As for the Ukelele, it's a fun instrument to play. I like how it looks. It appears to be absolutely stunning! br>br>Tuning was simple, and it holds its tuning for a long time; I've played with it almost every day, and I've only tuned it once. br>br>The extra strings are a nice touch, and the electric tuner is an added bonus. br>br>The carrying case is also sturdy, and it isn't cheap or soft. Overall, this purchase is a no-brainer. If you're new to the game, you should start with the basics. Take a chance. br>And if you're buying a present for someone else, Prepare to become that person's favorite individual.
This instrument is exquisitely crafted! It came with a digital tuner, picks, extra strings, a webbing strap, a booklet, and a padded case, all of which are well worth the price. The tone of this ukelele is full, rich, and warm, even though I'm a beginner. It isn't tinny in the least. It comes with a good 5-star rating. 6 second sustain at the end of a note or chord. br>To go with it, I purchased a wall mount and an embroidered strap (separately). I like that the sound hole isn't centered directly behind the strings, as opposed to a high gloss finish that would show finger prints. It prevents my finger from getting caught in the uke's mouth when strumming. br>To learn how to play the ukulele, I've been watching the 30 Day Ukelele Challenge on YouTube. It appears to be a simple instrument to pick up so far. My purchase has pleased me!.
This is a very pretty ukulele with a big sound, especially for the price, and the binding on the ukulele is very detailed and a nice touch, giving it the appearance of costing more than it does. It tuned easily and has stayed in tune well so far, which is surprising given the lack of time for the strings to settle. It includes Aquila Super Nylgut strings, which are a popular string brand among ukulele players, as well as a spare set in the accessories package. There were four picks included, as well as an electronic clip-on. The Paisen logo is embroidered on the tuner, capo, and strap. A small booklet and a Paisen business card were also included, as well as a padded gig bag with the Paisen logo embroidered on it, a pocket, and a carrying strap to make it easy to carry. This ukulele has a rich and pleasant tone, far superior to some of the more expensive models I've heard in stores. I would recommend it to a beginner or someone looking for a low-cost ukulele. br>br>Pros: br>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>pr>p br>tuning machines could be improved; br>instructional booklet is not well translated.
I have 12 ukuleles, and when I get one, I check tuning open strings, then find the 12th fret and see how it tunes with my finger placed across the strings at the 12th fret, similar to how a piano goes from one octave to four, low to high, just like any string instrument. In any case, I consider the 12th fret to be too high, indicating that the saddle should be moved away. Putting the bridge and saddle on a ukulele is the most difficult part because if they don't measure correctly, your chords will never sound right, and you'll give up and start playing on your own. I sent an email to the seller, and they are looking into it. Also, the string action is 3mm higher than I would like, but that's okay. I got a lightning deal and like odd-looking ukuleles, so I own two of them and play them on a regular basis. This will most likely be hung on the same wall as the others.
It has a full, rich tone to it. The instrument is stunning and one-of-a-kind. Simply opening the case makes me smile. I also appreciate the fact that it already has the pegs for a strap. My husband has even decided to try his hand at ukulele playing since his purchase! So it appears to be contagious! ) If you're still undecided- Don't be afraid to take risks; you won't be sorry.
What I didn't like about this ukulele was that it had sharp edges that irritated my arm when I strummed it. I had to use sandpaper to smooth down the razor sharp areas around the fish design, bridge corner, and body edge. These points were so sharp that they irritated my arm, so I used sandpaper to smooth them out. What I liked about it. . . br> It includes everything you'll need, including a small lesson book. The instrument's design is also quite lovely. I was going to return it, but the beauty of it drew me in.
