Selected User Reviews For The Loar LM-110-BRB Honey Creek A-Style Mandolin
Excellent sound and value, especially for a beginner who is serious about music and wants an instrument to grow with over time. I used it straight out of the box but I did need some adjustments from my local luthier to make it more comfortable to play for me. By the time he has set it up with the string height, and changed the strings, it is a joy to use it. Despite its small size, it is a great little instrument, and even he said I play it every day. As a bonus, I love the look of the command. Almost like satiny wood, with a very soft finish. My goal was to avoid shiny objects, so I went with a matte finish. This is a great product. Does it have better controls available? It is true, but you will also pay a lot more The acoustic guitar that you get for the few hundred bucks on this one is really a great instrument for the beginner/intermediate musician.
I have a bunch of really good guitars. The other day I played an old 1920 Gibson oval hole and immediately fell in love with it. Due to the fact that it is a relatively new instrument, I did not want to spend a large amount of money on it. I figured out how to set it up after a bit of searching on YouTube This tutorial shows you how to intonate the bridge and lower the action. In its current state, I have lowered the bridge quite a bit, and it is much better now than This is exactly what you want. I liked the sound of the instrument and the way it played. It has plenty of "chop" for my tastes, and it is pretty bright and bright sounding overall. There is no comparison between this and the Gibson, but for an imported mandolin this is quite impressive. Rogue One a while back and found it to be generally enjoyable, but I think this is much better in my opinion and is worth the price jump. Unless I start really getting into it, it should fulfill my needs for recording and carrying it with me in various situations.
For a beginner, this is a good mandolin. Tuned well and holds its pitch. Setup should be done before you start On my flywheel, I only needed to adjust the height of the bridge and the position of the bridge. It has a sturdy feel to it. The sound is great.
It arrived on time and in good condition. However, there was no manual on how to maintain it. According to the advertisement, it did not come with a case. This mandolin is keeping its tune and, as I do not have another mandolin to compare it to, I think it sounds very good. After conducting a research on which instrument to purchase, I am confident that I bought the most appropriate instrument for my needs and for the best price possible. Furthermore, I purchased a case, strap, and tuner which I am quite pleased with as well.
The mandolin shown here is a beautiful economy model. The instrument is nicely finished, except for a little roughness under the fretboard, where the neck overlaps the body. There is no medical purpose to it The direct view is not available. The condition of the item is fair - some This is not a major problem There is a good chance that these issues are caused by the poorly packaged The rest of this instrument is really wonderful and easy to play This book is well worth the price.
To get a great instrument at a great price, this one is a must-have. Mandolin made of wood with a double-neck A truss rod with this kind of action and this level of quality for $250 is an amazing What makes it unique is that it looks, sounds and plays like a movie.
It is the first Mando that I have owned myself but I began teaching myself on borrowed Mando instruments that cost more than the Loar, and it sounds just It's a very pretty instrument and makes a lovely sound. Practicing is what I need to do now.
It is a beautiful mandolin made well for the price. I think it would make a good recording because its voice is decent enough for professional purposes. It is also worth noting that the seller was sensitive to shipping delays.
