If you use the standard guitar picks that come with this bundle, please be extremely cautious. If not used carefully, they can scratch the ukulele's surface. I just put my regular guitar picks in my acoustic guitar case that came with it. There are felt picks available for use with a ukulele. I'm not sure why the company didn't just pick one or two of them. They could have omitted the actual guitar picks and replaced them with something more appropriate for a ukulele, such as felt picks, but I don't see anyone using picks on a ukulele. They could have included felt ukulele picks with the included accessories or not included any picks at all and instead included an actual ukulele capo. The ukulele is not designed to use guitar picks. At least, not in most cases. This deal would have been even sweeter with a capo. br>br>Instead of regular hard plastic guitar picks that aren't designed for ukuleles, they could have included the following: br>String winder (for restringing or changing strings) It winds or unwinds the tuners more quickly by hand)br>Capo - one designed specifically for a ukulele rather than a regular guitarbr>Felt Picks (despite the fact that I've never seen a ukulele player use picks)
It's made of wood, and you can choose from a variety of different species.
I'm not sure how big the lockers are, but the package is about 40x12 inches, which is quite large.
I had no issues with mine, and it was most likely a defect, so I returned it.

I've been playing guitar for about 8 years and I always try to buy very nice high-end instruments because "you get what you pay for" is usually true in this case. This is my first Ukelele, and my kids enjoy playing with instruments as well, so I decided to give it a try because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that they might abuse. Amazing is all I have to say. br>br>It has a very high-end appearance, despite the fact that it is not made of solid wood. It appears to be made entirely of mahogany. STRUCTURE: BEAUTIFULLY BUILT. br>br>SOUND: The woods have a very clear and pleasant resonance, which works well with an acoustic guitar in terms of volume. It's small, but it produces warm, crisp highs that sound like they're coming from a Ukulele. br>STRINGS: I've kept the ones that are on because they match the extra ones they sent out (which is really cool). I'm no Ukulele pro, but the strings are holding up very well and stay in tune quite well after the first week of playing. br>BODY: SUPERB for the price! The neck is beautiful with a satin finish that makes it nice to slide back and forth as you play, and I can tell it will take a beating for a long time. br>TUNERS: These, along with the strings that came with it, have proven to be extremely effective at keeping the instrument in tune for days at a time with only minor adjustments every other day. br>PLAYABILITY: This game is a lot of fun to play. This Ukulele feels very smooth around the fretboard right out of the box; the frets are well polished and do not catch your fingers, and the back of the neck allows for quick position changes.
BAG: It has two shoulder straps so you can wear it like a backpack, and it has an extra pocket with zippers for any accessories you might want to bring (tuners, strings, photos, etc. ). br>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In most cases, the "bundles" are simply a collection of a few low-cost items combined with the main item to attract attention. This is not the case here; the tuner (of the same brand as the guitar) performs admirably, and it has the added benefit of being adaptable to any string or vibration instrument. I haven't tried the extra strings yet, but if they're the same as the ones that came with the guitar, I should be fine. The strap has a lovely pattern and is extremely functional; it can even be adjusted to fit a smaller child. It's a perfect match for our collection of instruments. If you're looking for a low-cost, easy-to-play instrument, this is it. That, in my opinion, is all there is to it. p. br>br>p. br>br>p. br>br>p I did not receive this guitar for free from the manufacturer (it cost $55), nor am I affiliated with Donner; I simply enjoy good music and nice instruments.
) To be honest. As a 50- For years, I've secretly wished to learn to play the ukulele, but I've felt time and ability to do so had passed me by. Thanks to my new Donner ukele, that is no longer the case! After doing some research online, I decided on this low-cost option. model with a tuner and a carrying case for a reasonable price. Thank God for that, because I would never have ordered a tuner if I hadn't known what I didn't know. My 'career' would have ended after the first tense 20 minutes if it hadn't been for that little baby. I'm strum patterning and chording to beat the band with the tuner and a week of practice. (OK, sorry for the bad pun. ) )br>br>To be honest, after one week and some incredible websites, I'm fairly confident and competent on a wide range of songs, from the ever-popular to the obscure. I expected to go from Somewhere Over the Rainbow to Hallelujah to You're So Vain to Jolene to I'm Yours, and I spent the first two days tuning the uke rather than trying to learn anything, as per my research. My uke now stays in tune from day to day after a week, and all I have to do is check to see if it's still ready to play. br>br>Now if I could just callous my fingertips as easily as the ukulele learned to stay in tune.
I noticed there weren't many reviews on this site- and the majority of them were for grandmothers purchasing gifts for their grandchildren. I'm a 25-year-old beginner who adores the uke's sound and clarity. I really like the accessories, and the build quality is excellent! The tuner, like the case, is fantastic! br>br>And it'll only set you back $52. sold!.
This was purchased for my children at a great price for a high-quality beginner soprano ukelele. In the long run, I really wanted the tenor ukelele because it has a wider range and a richer sound. However, this was a good price and size for children (though it could be suitable for adults as well). The ukelele's high-quality nylon strings are gentle on children's fingers and produce a pleasing sound when strummed. Chords appear to be much easier to play than a guitar at times, despite the fact that the finger placements are different. br>My only complaint was that one of the strings kept becoming significantly detuned in a matter of seconds, prompting me to return it at first, but I now have it 30 days before the return deadline. After a few weeks, I retested the string, and it had finally self-corrected. I was unaware of this at first, so I contacted Donner customer service, who informed me that this is a common occurrence with new strings. My detunement degrades dramatically after a few seconds, so I believe mine was more severe. (It's worth noting that Amazon's customer service was ineffective. ) They suggested trying a different string or a replacement string because they didn't understand what was going on. It would be great if Donner (or any other ukelele manufacturer) informed customers when a new ukelele was purchased, either through an insert note or on their Amazon product page.
I purchased this as a gift and was pleasantly surprised to find a Deko toolkit when I opened the box. I didn't order a toolkit, but rather a ukelele. As I had expected, playing music from a toolkit is extremely difficult, if not impossible, so I was disappointed. I'm not sure if this is a complete scam or if I was simply blessed (or cursed) by a craftsman, but you might end up with a large box full of tools instead of a ukelele.
