Questions & Answers
Then you can set up two inputs on the amp- and put the ab switch in front of the pedalboard, or if you only have one input, you can add an A/B switch after your pedalboard.
Yes, I agree. That is exactly what I am doing with it. There's just a simple 2 to 1 switch on the inside, so it works in either direction.
There is only one option. There is a second switch that can do A, B, and A+B simultaneously. You'll have more versatility if you have one like that.
When switching, I do not hear any popping sounds.

Works well just by itself. This item does exactly what I wanted it to do. I already have one of these but needed another for my guitar board. In my case, I flip it so I can have two inputs go to one output (read up on it, it's Very well built, nothing too fancy. The LED's are great, except for one of the blue LED's which is too bright I blocked it with a transparent stick on "bumper" over it and it was lowered. It can work passively, so it isn't a deal breaker. It might need a better connector for the 9V, but it can still work. This is an easy buy for a product that is so simple, and the price is right. Unless you're going to use it for 2 guitars into one amp, or for 2 pedalboards into a single amp, you don't need a screen or knobs. This just flat out didn't work We are out to work.
I received this item two days ago and have played with it for a while now. The best AB switch can be found anywhere for any price. It's just an AB switch-it's not more than that. It is all about that.
There are no sounds coming from the south. When switched to another amplifier, there was no popping at all. Color of tone is not altered.
It is small, but it is made of durable materials. Upon picking it up, I was surprised at the weight of it. The amp wiring is easy to hook up and there are nice bright lights that tell me what amp is connected. This takes up no space on my pedal board. Keeping the wires and such out of the way, I use power from my pedal board. The little AB switch here is a great piece.
This switcher box is very good for A/B switching. It is simple to use, and it has both inputs and outputs. The switch runs without power, which is fantastic as I will be able to switch between guitar amplifiers without having to plug in. In general, very pleased with the price and will definitely purchase more from this company in the future.
After less than a year, I bought two of these units, and one of them became faulty. Apart from that, the function is great, just wanted to note that I did get a bad one, I plan to replace it with something worth slightly more.
The indicator lights are also great.
The LEDs do not have a power supply. The title of my post says it all. The batteries will not be able to run the device, and LEDs won't be visible without.
For switching between two amps, I use this. In my setup, I have been satisfied with it's operation so far, although I wish it had a both feature that would be the Y in an ABY setting.
Build quality is excellent and it has a very small footprint. I would like to have it run on batteries.
