This isn't a $50 tote. The bag fits the GK Fusion 800S (500) quite well. I'm guessing 1200 as well). It's a good size. I chose this bag over Gator's bag because of the depth of about 3". It's a plus if the case is made of heavy nylon and the zippers are in good condition. However, the padding is inadequate—it's thin, soft, and doesn't go all the way around. The main compartment does not fully open, making stowing and removing the amplifier a little difficult. (At least, more than if it was fully open. ) ) The two front zippered pockets aren't particularly large, but they'll suffice for the following items: stringed instruments, a few cords, and other miscellaneous items I thought it might work at first, but now that I've given it some thought, I'm thinking I'll return it. The problem is that there aren't many options for a bag this size, and a real rack adds a lot of weight and bulk to a small amp setup. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The bag is being returned on December 26th. I really wanted it to work, but it doesn't give me any sense of security.
The bag is of exceptional quality. There is plenty of padding throughout. The main area of the bag is just right for a 9x10, 10x10, or even a 12x12 canvas. The power packs are included with the x12 portable mixer. Digital recorders will fit perfectly in the outside compartment. In the main compartment of the bag, I have a Behringer QX1202 and two power packs, as well as a Tascam DP-100. 004 digital recorder with two tracks and Tascam DR- In the outside pouch is a 70D 4-track digital recorder. The velcro wrap around handle to contain both straps is so far very sturdy and appreciated. The straps are securely sewn all the way down the sides, under the bottom, and back up the other side to the other handle where the handles attach to the bag, so you won't risk a handle coming off the bag if you carry a heavier object in it. The zippers are wide and appear to be as sturdy as those on some of my other larger bags. However, there is a drawback. The large, but flimsy zipper pulls are one of the reasons I docked a star. The rubber grip on the zipper pulls is nice, but whatever metal the zipper pulls are made of needs to be replaced completely. Because it snapped just by zipping the bag shut, I had this thought. They have an aluminum-like feel to them. br>However, the bag is mine to keep! The rest of the zipper pulls will be removed and replaced with paracord pulls.
In any case, it's out of the box. It's fantastic when something so cheap is also extremely functional and exactly what I require. It's the perfect match for my Yamaha MG8/2FX. The mixer and power supply are both snugly tucked away in the main compartment! Several patch/mic cables, as well as a microphone, can be stored in the front pouches. All of the materials, construction, and zippers appear to be quite tough. Time will tell, and if it is necessary, I will update this post. It's worth noting that the sides "almost" unzip completely. As a result, you won't be able to lay the flap back and get easy access to your mixer. You'll need to take the mixer out of the bag if you want to do anything other than stare at it. I hope this information is useful to you. br>br>I was not compensated for this review and purchased the product at full price!br>Hondo.
With a little room to spare, the case fits my MG10XU mixer, as well as the power supply and manual. I haven't taken it to many shows yet, but it seems to be holding up well so far. The case isn't overly padded, but I'm not out to gigs every night, or even every week, so it's not a big deal to me. br>If any issues arise, I'll post an update.
The zipper puller snapped on its first performance night. At the very least, everything else is of good quality, and it fits my Yamaha mg10xu much better than the Gator equivalent. In comparison to the Gator, I prefer this one because it has more padding and protection.
It's a near-perfect fit for my Legacy 500, which I purchased it for. It has a lot of space for cables and other small objects. Take a look if you need a way to transport a small class D amplifier but don't want to deal with racks. As always, double-check the dimensions. br>br>Strongly suggested. br>br>.
Works well, is long-lasting, and sturdy; however, keep in mind the size - It's small to me because I like to coil up power cords and mic cords inside it, which quickly fill up all of the available space.
It's for my Yamaha Mg10XU mixer, which is small and portable. On the road, it provides a good fit and protection.
