The SKB series of mil-standard waterproof cases are injection molded from ultra high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and feature a gasket-sealed, water and dust tight, submersible design (MIL-C-4150J/ IP67). life span is limited

I own a video production company, and we needed portable racks that we could travel with and ship our DIT equipment to when we needed it

We looked at everything from Gatorcases to custom wood cases to SKB shock mount racks, and this is by far the best combination of portability, protection, and small size. When you take the rack out of the case, you're left with a black rack that's very nice, but it's not protected. It's nothing more than a shelf. This is convenient because it takes up little room on the DIT cart, but when it's time to travel, you simply drop the entire rack into a case with custom-made protective foam. It's fantastic!.

It's completely waterproof! Shelter- Place

The first thing I did with this case was to soak it for fifteen minutes in the shower. As advertised, there was no water in the case. A waterproof rack case is hard to come by. This wasn't the exact setup I had in mind when I began my search, but it has worked out well in the end. The pull- Our rack is built to last and comes with rack-mounting hardware. Both sides have rails, allowing you to be more creative with your audio setup. It's of excellent quality. I've put it through its paces on a few gigs and it appears to be quite durable. The wheels are both durable and necessary. The pull-up extending handle could be a little stronger, but with proper care, it should be fine. When you have a rack full of audio equipment and no building nearby to duck into, rain is not your friend. I am ecstatic.
