UPDATE: I had to delete my previous comments because, after writing them, I realized that the issue was not with the microphones, but rather with my Allen and Heath Zedi- 8 mixer. I forgot I had an old Behringer mixer lying around that I could use to test them, and when I hooked them up to that mixer, they worked perfectly, with no hum. I also forgot that the reason my MXL microphone worked through the Allen and Heath mixer was because I was routing it through an acoustic amp and thus not using phantom power, which turned out to be the mixer's problem. In any case, these microphones work fine; I can't comment on how well they work yet because I'm waiting for a new mixer so I can do some recording, but for now, I'll give them four stars because they work right out of the box and sound good. When purchased with the mic stands, they appear to be a fantastic deal, though the cables appear to be a bit flimsy. They'll do the job, but I'd rather use my own.

Outstanding worth

This kit is a fantastic value. At this price point, the microphones' performance has blown me away. The stands and cables aren't of the highest quality, but for the most part, they'll suffice; the mics, on the other hand, are the star of the show, and I have no regrets about buying them.

They are excellent microphones for the money

Simple to work with. I've already made a recording with my 12-string guitar. I really like the package, which includes two mic stands as well as cables. Okay, I'm off to make some new music! God is incredibly merciful.

Does anyone else have this issue with the mic mount not fitting into the stand thread? This is supposed to come with mic cllips, right? There are none that I can see.
